LMAO. So it seems that I am stuck in a kind of bind here. Because as much as I adore my Tsuna and Enma and Cozzato Giotto bromance and I am all for this backstory for Daemon Spade as well and I am shipping Daemon and this mystery woman like mad at the moment. I guess it's two separate issues, whether to forgive Daemon or to understand his motives. And it's definitely no to the first but yes to the second for me.
Amano has shown how love and friendship can trump all difficulties (like with Enma and Tsuna har har har har har ok I shut up) but if mystery woman really is the cause of all of Daemon's batshit, then I guess we're shown how love can destroy a person as well. I find it tragic that Spade continued surviving for over 100 years and being fucking insane because he lost something he loved. Because I do think he was a decent human being before he lost himself (or else why would Giotto recruit him?). It's not exactly sympathy, but more like...I wish it could have happened another way.
Also people calling the new girl a mary sue already LOLOLOLOL (the original author writing a mary sue, OKAY) seriously, what kind of girl would want her position right now? To have been part of the cause for the craziest axe murderer in the history of KHR? I feel sorry for HER.
