1. Okay, Amano, we get it. YAMAMOTO IS HOT. This is why it has been taking me two or three times as long as usual to get through the chapters lately. I keep having to stop every other page to oggle. XD

And is it just me, or has Basil been making the exact same face in every panel he's been in for the last two or three chapters? It makes me wonder what this kid is like at zoos and circuses. LOOK AT THAT!! AHHHH, LOOK AT THAT!!!!11 HE IS SO CUTE.


2. The Hell Ring turns Genkishi into a Stalfos with a viking helmet and some bling! Oh no. Run away fast.

"Nngghhh... my power is multiplied many times over...!! But why...? Why, when I have all this power... do you not acknowledge me...?"

BECAUSE IT'S NOT EVEN REMOTELY SCARY, GENKISHI. It's mostly just funny. Sorry. :(


3. SERIOUSLY BASIL. CALM THE FUCK DOWN. It's going to be all right, holy shit. RELAX. !!


4. Wait wait wait. FULL STOP. Is Hibari... actually impressed here on this page, or am I hallucinating, or did we just spend too much time talking about this last week, or what? DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN? Wonders never cease.


5. And lastly, I love that Yamamoto still calls Shigure Souen Ryu an "invincible" style. |D I was rereading the fight between him and Squalo last week, and it made me a little sad to think that his father's perfect sword style had actually been defeated by Genkishi's wall. So to see him say in this chapter that it wasn't Shigure Souen Ryu that lost the fight last time, but rather his inexperienced self... well, that made me grin a little. He really, really loves his dad and respects the hell out of that style.


So all in all, not much to ramble on this week, but this chapter is still full of sexy and funny. Which is basically all I could ask for.
