1. Announcing... MILLEFIORE CASUAL FRIDAYS. I-I can't stop cracking up; this cover is my new favorite thing ever. (And I love how the text is all, "What lies behind his bewitching gaze?" IS HE TRYING TO SEDUCE US OR WHAT. He's kind of failing hilariously, but maybe that's just me, lol.)


2. "I did it... old man..."

AHHH WAY TO GO RIGHT FOR THE GUT AMANO. Is it pathetic that I nearly teared up? Please don't answer that. XD

Other notable things about this page:

1. "No doubt about it... since the battle in the Melone Base, Yamamoto's really powered up." OH REALLY, REBORN? YOU THINK? XD
2. Yamamoto's HILARIOUS victory dance and his "Whoo!" I'm just going to assume that even though we can't see him, Squalo is currently smacking his forehead again. YOUR APPRENTICE IS VERY SPECIAL.
3. Dera's little sideways-glance "heh," which I assume translates into something like, "Not bad, my rival-slash-heterosexual-life-partner. Not bad. ...Not that I care or anything." |D


3. "We're not killers, that's all." asdlkj he's so happy and cute and innocent. YAMA PLEASE STAY LIKE THIS AS LONG AS POSSIBLE even though it is oh so fun to torture you in fanfiction. XD

You can tell he kind of naively expects Genkishi to somehow turn into another sword rival like Squalo. It makes what happens next even more tragic. ;_;


4. ...Well, now we can update the list of things we know about Kikyou.

5. Oh my God yes Genkishi flashback. 8O I WAS WAITING AND WAITIIIIING. I KNEW YOU HAD A SYMPATHETIC BACKSTORY!

And we find out more about Byakuran and his wtf powers! Apparently he is Jesus or something. INTERESTING and by "interesting" I mean "creepy."

Oh come on, let the girls see, they're not made of china or anything. :( I mean, it's nice of you to keep chivalry alive and all, Dino, but if you don't give a hoot about whether the boys are traumatized (and don't say they aren't, just look at Yama and Tsuna's faces. LET'S NOT EVEN GET INTO POOR BASIL), you might as well keep the girls there too. AND UH, DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT LAMBO AND IPIN, or what? (Actually... where are they...??)


7. BYAKURAN OH MY GOD JUST WHEN I THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T BE ANY MORE OF A DICK. It's one thing to not give a shit when your subordinate who worships you happens to get injured/die in the line of duty (hell, that's pretty much old hat by now, thank you Xanxus and Mukuro). It's a whole 'nother ball game to KILL THE SUBORDINATE just cuz you feel like it. Geez.

Hey Kikyou, I bet you're thinking, "lol what an idiot. Good thing nothing like this could ever happen to me!" WORD OF ADVICE: I BET IT COULD.

That cover with Byakuran in tattered clothes kind of looks like he's been raped. But Byakuran is one of the top semes of the series so who could possibly rape him? *gasp*

He's kinda got that "I was in an anime war/explosion that fortunately left me intact but unfortunately ripped up all my clothes so that they new drape off of me in sexy tatters" look going on to me. Or, "Someone tried to rape me but because I'm the biggest fucking badass in the series they ended up running away crying while I stood here smirking in my ripped-up clothes." ...God, he's creepy. XD

It is extraordinarily pretty hair, but I am hugely biased toward Squalo, so. :P

Have we even seen them since they got teleported to this lightning stage? Maybe Reborn had them tranq'd so they could watch the fight in peace. XD

I was almost secretly hoping that maybe maybe maybe something like Defeat Equals Friendship would happen and Genkishi would become a sort of Squalo to Yamamoto. _{But probably not. I mean, considering he exploded and everything. ;;}

Aww... it's really not fair! Genkishi finally got his pet the dog moment and then Byakuran had to go and blow him up. =__= Byakuran is starting to get a little too creepy and magnificentbastard-ish for my liking.

(Though his jeans are truly outrageous. Truly truly truly outraaageous. )

Yamamoto's victory dance = epic win. Squalo is probably going to kill him when he arrives back at the base.

The thing is, I can't imagine Haru and Kyoko are so oblivious as to not understand exactly what's going on when Dino and Bianchi suddenly drag them away like that. Is it really protecting them if they're almost certainly thinking, "Oh God something horrible is about to happen to that guy Yamamoto just defeated"? I'm pretty sure when they get back and see the blood spattered everywhere where Genkishi used to be, they're not going to assume that butterflies came and sprinkled a ketchup rainbow on everything. WHAT IS THE POINT. XD

I guess it could have been worse in that Genkishi refused to believe he actually had been betrayed by Byakuran? At least there was that much; he didn't have to hear the guy he trusted more than anyone laughing about how he was no more use to him in his final moments. :| (Though I suppose in a way it was fitting, considering how Genkishi himself betrayed Gamma and the rest of the Giglio Nero.) But yeah... at this point, Byakuran and Kikyou really need to get some comeuppance.

...now that you mention it, he does bear a certain resemblance to Gamma, though I'm not sure that it really means anything (though I'm one to talk, since I still believe Shamal and Lava Guy are relates somehow XD). I do wonder if he had some additional motive, though, because he seemed to be extra specially dickish about the whole thing.

On the one hand, Squalo's protege is made of awesome. On the other, he's also made of fail. XD

I WAS KIND OF HOPING THE SAME THING. I'm so used to that happen that it was almost a shock when Genkishi actually died. I THOUGHT PEOPLE DIDN'T DIE IN THIS MANGA?! I mean, I know a lot of the fans hated his guts, but still. ;_;

Lol, the whole outfit really is something else. I really want to see more examples of his fashion sense now. XD (I suppose his hair should have been our first clue, really.)

I like to picture some combination of both. "NOT BAD, BRAAAAAAT." Followed by a fish/sword/WHATEVER to the back of the head, and a, "BUT DON'T FUCKING EMBARRASS ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAAAAAAIN!!!" Squalo is full of conflicted feelings. |D

I'm actually finding that the creepier he gets, the more I like him. It's weird for me because I usually don't gravitate toward the villain types at all. But he is just so much of a dick that I CAN'T HELP IT. !!

They should both do shampoo commercials. Not only would I immediately go out to buy whatever brand they advertised, I would actually pay to watch the commercials themselves. XD

Oh God, I've been on like the edge of my seat waiting for Lambo especially to get a chance to fight. I want to see the six-year-old kick ass so badly. PLEASE GIVE HIM A CHANCE NEXT ROUND, AMANO.

In Fate of Heat, they rated their luck quotient and Squalo's luck was like 200 while Hibari's was 400. Everyone had better luck than Squalo except for Xanxus who had about 100 of luck. o__O;

I unlocked all characters on my game so I can try and list all of them if you want.

Reborn games aren't that popular anyways, so I doubt about there being a list.

The Varia really has bad luck on the whole. Tsuna does too. I think Yama has pretty good luck. Maybe better luck than Hibari. [but somehow, my head always had Hibari having the best luck. ^^;]

Heh, thanks. But I know there are a lot of characters in that game, so you don't have to list them if it's a hassle. I don't need to know that badly. ^^;; (That, and I can probably guess at most of that stats anyway.)

Well, that would explain why they ended up losing. XD Lol, I guess Tsuna does have pretty terrible luck in general, though he seems to get lucky in bursts every so often. And it wouldn't surprise me if Yamamoto was as or more lucky than Hibari; both of them definitely have that "everything comes easily to them" vibe.

There are only a few, actually. Well, compared to the some of the latest games. xD

Luck only determines how fast you can go in the game. As in, when your turn is up or something like that. Tsuna, yes, he does have HORRIBLE Luck, but it gets better in Hyper Mode, I think.
Yamamoto's speed is #1, but still, he sometimes doesn't get top spot during battles all due to that something called Hyper Will Tsuna. XD;

I think Chrome's was pretty shabby too. I remember how she always came out to be last in everything. =/

Yeah, maybe; it definitely served as a rude reminder, since the last time we really had any character deaths was... actually, I don't even know. XD All of the TYL!character deaths, obviously, but even those we didn't actually see.

...lol now I can't stop picturing Byakuran wearing feet pajamas. WIN.

It's awesome, because they both love each other (PLATONICALLY... mostly) and show it in the most hilarious ways ever.

(Well, they do seem to follow that win-lose-win-lose pattern, so I guess he might be due. XD)
