a. My favorite thing about that character.

How completely and utterly dependable he is. No matter what's going on, no matter how bad things get, you can always count on him to pull through unless there are walls involved XD. He's an incredibly strong person, both mentally and physically; he's the guy all of the other characters can rely on whenever they need him. I find that particularly admirable because I personally am the type of person who totally crumbles under that kind of pressure, but he actually thrives on it. He lives to be someone his friends can always count on; he'd do anything for them. And damn that's cool.

b. My least favorite thing about that character.

...Okay, I've been sitting here for like five minutes and am coming up with absolutely nothing. He is perfect. :|

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.

GOKUDERA. I assume "would ship" in this context means "absolutely do ship."

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.

I want him to meet that guy you mentioned from this meme. Mutsumi. I mean, Yamamoto is pretty much universally shippable--HE LOVES EVERYONE!--but I have a feeling that combo in particular would be pretty special.

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater.

I would love to see him in some kind of detective show. Can't think of a particular series, but he'd be hilarious in that kind of environment in general.

f. Their ship from hell.

As mentioned, Yamamoto loves just about everyone, so this is hard. Probably him and Byakuran would be the worst. Because Byakuran hasn't been Jesused yet, and he kind of killed his future dad and attempted to kill his future Tsuna and indirectly maimed his future Squalo and all. THAT DICK.

g. Their song.

Gonna cheat and just pull one from an old FST, cause Summer Rain by U2 is totally his song. IT IS ABOUT BEING OPEN AND CAREFREE. AND IT HAS RAIN IN THE TITLE. AND THE ENDING OF THE SONG IS ALL, "It's not where you're born, it's where you belong/It's not how weak, but what will make you strong," and damned if that is not an utterly shounen philosophy and Yama to a T.

h. The title of their biography or autobiography.

Something with a stupid baseball reference/pun, like "BATTER UP" or "BASES LOADED" or "PLAYING HARDBALL" or something. The gayer/cornier/more cliched, the better. Particularly if it's an autobiography.

i. The last bad dream they had.

Probably something related to all the shit happening in the future arc. Tsuna and everyone dying because he made a mistake or something. Or alternately, some really bizarre crackish thing with Squalo chasing him around with a tuna and then suddenly he's SURROUNDED BY WALLS and then Squalo corners him and then the tuna starts talking in Tsuna's voice about how he's concerned, he really shouldn't be pushing himself so hard. All of this is brought on by over exhaustion due to Squalo's crazy training. SHIT GETS REALLY WEIRD WHEN YOU'RE TIRED.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already.

NOOOOOO oh wow the thought of him dying is really upsetting. P-probably in the middle of some really epic swordfight or gunfight or sword AND gunfight. Fighting to his last breath like the warrior he is. But sob do not want. ;_:

MY LITTLE ANGRY DUCKLING.

a. My favorite thing about that character.

How totally fucking passionate he is. EVERYTHING IS SERIOUS FUCKING BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY. EVERYTHING. Anyone who speaks in perpetual all-caps is A-OK in my book. He's like Ryohei except everything pisses him off.

b. My least favorite thing about that character.

I love him as comic relief, but I wish we got to see his serious side more often. Moments like when he's talking to Yamamoto about swordsmanship or facing down Zakuro are pure and utter win. But more often he's just the loud guy with the flying shark. WHICH IS AWESOME, don't get me wrong. But there could be a bit more balance.

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.

Yamamoto. He obsesses over him; the only person he possibly obsesses over more is Xanxus. And with Yamamoto, it's something even more personal than simply admiring his EPIC RAAAGE; he connects with him on that "we're swordsmen, fuck yeah!" level that only the two of them really seem to understand. I adore it whenever they interact.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.

Hard to say; I've never really thought about it. Maybe someone equally as capslocky and freakishly passionate as him. Like Maito Gai. ...On second thought, I'm not sure the universe could take that.

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater.

Three words: Cowboy. Fucking. Bebop. I really just want to see him and Vicious meet up, since they're so similar. EPIC TIMES WOULD BE HAD.

f. Their ship from hell.

I think Mukuro would drive him nuts pretty quickly.

g. Their song.

Gonna cheat again and go with In the Belly of a Shark by the Gallows. It's about BEING EATEN BY A SHARK and the guy singing it even sounds like him, in the "screaming at the top of his lungs" sense. XD It's a loud and angry song.

h. The title of their biography or autobiography.

Probably just a book version of "The Making of the Second Sword Emperor." I'm too tired/lazy to come up with anything more original or clever.

i. The last bad dream they had.

Probably a dream where Xanxus came on to him and they started making out. He woke up feeling terrified and more than a little disturbed. FEAR YOUR OWN REPRESSED DESIRES, SQUALO.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already.

For starters, not by being blown up by Zakuro. I have the sneaking suspicion that in his ideal world, he'd meet his death at Yamamoto's hand. The student has finally surpassed the teacher, and all that. Who knows, though.

Oh, it's been too long since I rambled about Haru. <3

a. My favorite thing about that character.

She's actually like a female version of Gokudera in a lot of ways, with his quirky traits more amplified and his tsun-y traits a little more downplayed. But she's smart, determined, more than a little obsessed with her husband-to-be (and she pursues her goal of MAFIA WIFE in much the same way that Gokudera strives to be the right hand man), stubborn and argumentative when she feels that something isn't right, and ultimately just wants to do her best to help her friends and loved ones. So that's a lot of things, and I was supposed to list just one, but whatever. XD

b. My least favorite thing about that character.

I really am disappointed at how she and Kyoko have been relegated to the background (if that, even) in the Future Arc. Not that it wasn't expected, this being shounen, but still. I wish she could get a chance to do more than just watch.

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.

Gokudera. Mostly for the character similarities I mentioned above, and also because it would have to be a very gradually developing romance, and those are my favorite kind.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.

For some reason, the first thing that came to mind was, "A yuri pairing for her would be really neat", and right afterward the first person that popped into my head was Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Probably because I'm in the process of watching BtVS on DVD right now. But that would be a really interesting pairing; I think their personalities would mix pretty well.

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater.

I'll probably be shot for saying this, but I think it would be completely freaking hilarious to see Haru in the High School Musical universe. XD She's so theatrical, she would love it.

f. Their ship from hell.

...actually, Gokudera would probably be pretty high up here lol. XDD Okay, no, but any villain, pretty much. BYAKURAN. ICKY ICKY BYAKURAN. AND KIKYO. But apparently not Zakuro.

Love Blossoms in Spring or something equally ridiculous. Sob.

i. The last bad dream they had.

Probably Tsuna dying horribly in the Choice battle, and her maybe off on the sidelines, wanting desperately to help, but frozen in place and unable to do anything but watch it happen. She was pretty traumatized when he finally told her everything that had been going on. And I imagine that most if not all of the Tsunagang has had at least one dream like that since the future arc began. They're just kids. :(

As an old, old woman, on her deathbed surrounded by her beloved MAFIA HUSBAND and their loving kids and grandkids. I refuse to consider any other option.

SOB DERA GETS NO LOVE. XD Lol, but I do adore the failprince.

That he chose to be his best self in the end. Because for the majority of the series we saw how much he struggled with his destiny and his honor and figuring out what the hell he wanted to do, and while he made a lot (A LOT. A LOT) of DUMB bad choices, he also overcame a hell of a lot of obstacles and issues, and in the end he finally made the right decision, even though it meant giving up everything he'd thought he ever wanted. And I think that was incredibly brave.

b. My least favorite thing about that character.

My God but he can be a dumbass. XD

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.

Katara. Avatar fandom is so polarized when it comes to shipping that I'm always a little terrified to admit it, but yeah. I shipped him and Katara. But canon went its own way and that's fine too.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.

If he ever found himself in the Narutoverse I would totally ship him and Naruto, just because he's like a failier (and yet in some ways, less faily) version of Sasuke. And Naruto is like a ninjaier version of Aang, so they would totally get along. ...Probably.

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater.

Hell, I have to go with Naruto again. I think it would be fun to see their mythologies and abilities and so forth mix.

f. Their ship from hell.

It would be Azula, except I don't even really like to think about that one, so let's go with Sokka. Except I totally do ship that, but man, both of them would freak out at the very notion.

g. Their song.

it's Been a While by Staind. Angsty song about fucking up a lot and not knowing what to do about it or how to make things better... this was totally Zuko's theme for the majority of the series.

h. The title of their biography or autobiography.

From the Ashes or some other vaguely fire-related quote about struggling to rise from adversity. I dunno, I really, really suck at this question.

i. The last bad dream they had.

Bawww my sister is evil and trying to take over the world, bawww my father is evil and trying to take over the world, bawww my mother is dead, bawww I let my uncle down and he'll never forgive me, bawww I'm such a failure... take your pick. This kid had enough nightmare fodder for a lifetime. I'm hoping his dreams are a little more peaceful post-finale. Maybe a nice little standard-issue nightmare about showing up to give a Fire Lord speech in his underwear or something.

NEEDS MORE SCREENTIME. I'm very disappointed that Hibari showed up in the last chapter and yet he wasn't also there. FAIL, KUSAKABE. FAIL.

Romario. They can totally bond over being loyal minions. (During the chapters when Hibari was fighting Daisy, I almost died of the awesome just because those two were actually together.)

MMM, TASTES LIKE VILLAIN.

a. My favorite thing about that character.

Right now, it's that he's so unquestionably and unapologetically evil. We haven't even seen a hint of redemption potential in this guy. I really love that, because it makes him all the more fun to hate, and even though I know he'll eventually be Jesused like every other shounen villain ever, as far as I'm concerned, Amano can take her sweet time.

I also really like the "other universes" twist because it adds such a bizarre layer to his character.

b. My least favorite thing about that character.

HE'S A DICK. (Yeah, my least favorite thing is also my favorite thing.)

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.

Shouichi. In that extremely fucked-up "we used to be best friends but then you betrayed me just because I happened to be insane :/" way.

He'd be really fun to pair up with a similarly deluded psychopath from another universe, like Light from Death Note.

POKEMON. Come on, just imagine Byakuran in the Pokemon universe. You know one of the Byakurans is totally chilling out there anyway, plotting to take over Team Rocket and THEN, THE WORLD! And I bet he has a Jigglypuff.

Tsuna. Because Tsuna is the one who is eventually going to beat him, and I can only imagine the torment Byakuran would have from being paired up with someone better than him. Lol ego blow.

Oh man, I can't even imagine. Probably something really off-the-wall crazy having to do with a traumatic experience in a particularly weird parallel universe or something. Or maybe a dream where Tsuna and co succeed in killing him and wiping out his existence forever, and everything is just black and nothing-y. Though I can't really imagine him conceiving of the possibility that he might actually lose. He just seems so arrogant that it probably never even occurred to him.

In my perfect world, it would be after Tsuna delivers the death blow (Byakuran having given him no other choice), and him lying there afterward spending his last few moments saying an angsty goodbye to Shouichi. If he doesn't get one last angsty moment with Shou at the very end, I'll be very disappointed.

How utterly topped he secretly is by Tsuna, and how he absolutely will never, ever show it. Even ten years later he's still all, "You know, Tsuna, one of these days I'm still totally taking over your body," and it just makes me chuckle because EVERYONE knows he's completely full of shit. XD It's cute.

b. My least favorite thing about that character.

That he always has his game face on. I dunno, I'd just like to see him caught off-guard at least a little every now and then. His lack of reaction other than ":)" to everything can get a little dull sometimes. My favorite moments with him are when that mask slips a little, even if it's only for a moment.

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.

Chrome. She brings out his protective side, which is really interesting to see because she's really the only one who does that, ever. If she didn't exist I would have sworn he didn't even have a protective side.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.

You know, now he would be really fun to see with Light from DN. Their conversations would be hilariously polite with a very palpable undertone of ":|".

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater.

I want to see him in Harry Potter for some reason. You know, just trolling Harry and Slytherining it up. And part of me also thinks he'd be a great Phoenix Wright villain.

I've seen a fair few people shipping him with Byakuran, but I happen to think he'd absolutely despise that. He might play along, but he would hate the guy's guts.

g. Their song.

The Package by A Perfect Circle. Clever got me this far, then tricky got me in. Schism by Tool also reminds me of him, especially the solo. Not sure why, it just sounds like him.

h. The title of their biography or autobiography.

I don't even know. Some buddhist reincarnation cycle reference. My brain's too tired to think. XD

i. The last bad dream they had.

I always got the impression that Mukuro had pretty tight control over his own dreams. At least, you'd think so if one of his hobbies was wandering around other people's. So he probably doesn't have nightmares often, if ever. When he was younger he might have had dreams about the Estraneo family and all of those weird experiments they did. But who knows; he doesn't seem the type to be overly traumatized by much.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already.

Probably in some big noble act of sacrifice to protect Tsuna/the Vongola family. And he'd deny the implications of that right up till his last breath. Oh, Mukuro. And of course he'd be reincarnated again afterward, so he'd eventually find them again. ...That'd be an interesting fic, actually.
