1. I've typed the words "Byakuran is a dick" so many times they've practically lost all meaning... and yet, with a page like this, what else can I say? What really gets me is how loving/tender his expression is as he slowly chokes the life out of a teenage boy. Tsuna would later reminisce that he had never before experienced such an affectionate attempt to end his life.


2. I'm actually glad that when Tsuna experienced his moment of DETERMINATION!!!1/SECOND WIND!!1 Byakuran just loled and kept on doing this thing. Because if Tsuna turns the tides so easily after everything we've seen Byakuran do, I'll be extremely disappointed.


3. Okay, wait... just what the hell is going on here? Because this got confusing really fast--first Tsuna gets all gar, and then flames start spewing every which way, and Kikyou starts talking about exchanges, and people are cheering Tsuna on and yet Byakuran seems way too satisfied, which suggests that his efforts are useless, but then suddenly there's a giant sphere of energy around them both, and just... what?

AND THEN DINO AND SQUALO HAVE RIDICULOUS DERPY FACES (again I'm noticing a slight decline in the art quality here... what's going on with Amano's staff lately?), and Dino starts talking about layered flames and resonance, and a mile or so away Uni suddenly lights up like a Christmas tree. I'm now going to assume all my questions will be answered within the next few pages, but in the meantime, words cannot describe how utterly perplexed I am. IF THESE PAGES WERE SUPPOSED TO CONVEY ANY SORT OF LOGIC, THEY REALLY FAILED.


4. Ohhhhhh. So it's some kind of Sky 7^3 mojo. Thank you, Reborn. ...Wait, that still makes no sense. :|


5. ...and now Uni's just floating away. Can you imagine if you were standing next to someone and all of a sudden they started glowing and then just randomly took off into the air like some sort of balloon hoax? And then the tiny infant next to you randomly kicked the air and went, "NGH!" And then the nerd standing next to you suddenly started shrieking at the top of his lungs, "IT'S THE BOUNDARIES!!!!" as if that statement was supposed to make any kind of sense whatsoever?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THIS CHAPTER.


6. This page kind of reminds me of The Wizard of Oz. Only instead of Dorothy and a tornado, we have Uni and a tornado. MADE OF FLAMES!!1 And about to touch down on two other flame tornadoes (and when the hell did that third one appear?).

More art fail on this page, this time with Levi, who is also suffering a logic fail, apparently. "What is that child thinking??" YES, OF COURSE, LEVI, BECAUSE SHE TOTALLY DID IT ON PURPOSE. THAT'S WHY SHE LOOKS SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU ALL. I suppose I can't blame him, though, if the situation from his perspective looks even half as insane as it does from mine.


7. Sob Yamamoto you freaking godmode you. I FORGOT HE HAD TAKEN TO FLYING AS OF LATE.

It's totally ineffective, OF COURSE, but still, I have to take a moment to admire the boldness of the attempt and the utter disregard for the laws of physics. SCREW PHYSICS.


8. Jesus Christ is he still strangling Tsuna?! Isn't it only supposed to be like three minutes tops before the average person loses consciousness? (Even sooner with the type of choke Byakuran has him in, which is really effective.) And only five minutes before we're not just talking consciousness, but brain death? I will accept that because Tsuna is a DYING WILL POWERED SUPERHERO he can struggle for a bit longer, but still, what are the odds that in the anime this scene ends up lasting for like twenty minutes, and he's still fine? Go join Yamamoto in the godmode corner, Tsuna. AND YET, if Byakuran just punched him in the stomach, I bet he would topple over like a Jenga tower.


9. Okay, I really have no idea why everyone's so surprised. We've known about Uni's kleptomania since way back in chapter 254. Keep up, people.

This totally lends support to the whole "THE ARCOBALENO REALLY ARE THE IMMORTAL GUARDIANS OF THE TRI-NI-SETTE" thing, which is AWESOMESAUCE. AND COLONNELLO IS BEING REVIVED, WHICH IS ALSO WIN. ;_; AND MAMMON!! BEL'S SO HAPPY TO SEE HIM. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING ON HIS HEAD. NEVER MIND, I DON'T EVEN CARE. ALTHOUGH I DO WONDER IF TYL!REBORN IS GOING TO BE REVIVED TOO, OR WHAT. HE'S KIND OF GETTING SCREWED OVER OTHERWISE.

AND LAL SAYS THAT WITH THE COMBINED POWER OF TSUNA AND THE ARCOBALENO, BYAKURAN'S DEFEAT MAY BE AT HAND!!!
