Oh geez. Is there any torture worse than the agony of trying to memorize kanji? XD But it's good that you're putting it to use; it fades pretty quickly otherwise (I know one guy who used to have thousands of kanji memorized, but it's been so long since he's read/written Japanese that he only remembers a few of them now).
