NO, ME TOO! I was just thinking last night that it really wouldn't surprise me if we got halfway through this arc and the Shimon family suddenly pulled a betrayal on us. It would make for great drama after the time Amano's devoted to showing the development of their friendship, and it wouldn't be too far-fetched, either; like you said, considering their family's low standing, they could stand to gain a lot.
