5. Not that I can blame Tsuna, given the astoundingly pathetic example the Nonos are setting for him. :| FFFFFF THIS IS GETTING KINDA FRUSTRATING.
NICE GOING EVERYONE, WITH ALL THE NOT DOING ANYTHING. I'm getting the feeling the only actually competent people in the Vongola are the Varia, and I am only able to maintain this illusion by the fact that they didn't show up until the end of the chapter when it was too late to actually do anything.
Someone paid attention in villain school.
I know, right? :D
Especially since I only count four out of six guardian rings actually being smashed there. Lambo has disappeared to God-knows-where, apparently, and Yamamoto's ring is presumably still safe on his person, which in an ironic twist suddenly makes him the only guardian whose fighting ability isn't potentially crippled.
Yeah, that's going to be interesting. Hope Lambo's hiding somewhere with I-Pin and the non-guardian Vongola, so at least someone will still have superpowers next chapter.
. . . I'm kinda glad the rings are gone, though. We spent the entire future arc messing around with rings and boxes -- now, with any luck, we get to go back to good old-fashioned fire.
(who, it needs to be pointed out, just saved the world from the strongest guy in existence last week but SOMEHOW CAN'T DO ANYTHING HERE. Everyone's thinking it so I might as well say it XD)
Hey, Reborn, why don't you do something? Is idly standing by just too thoroughly ingrained by this point, or is the Nonos' collective uselessness just that fucking contagious?
This needs to be pointed out as often as possible. You Dying Will Punched Byakuran (who, let's not forget, knows EVERYTHING in EVERY ALTERNATE UNIVERSE EVER) to death last arc, Tsuna, and now you are just letting all your guardians get smashed to bits by these teenagers. NICE GOING, VONGOLA DECIMO. AND NICE GOING, 'GREATEST ASSASSIN OF THE VONGOLA'. I guess Tsuna was right to be skeptical of him in the Daily Life arc.
For one thing, in a fit of stupidity, Nametwin chose to kidnap the one guardian who is capable of communicating info to the other guardians via illusions and trippy magic dreams. And for another, she's also the one guardian for whom they actually have a replacement kept in cold storage. MUKURO, COULD IT BE YOUR TIME AT LAST...?
Yeah, I'm pretty much entirely un-worried about Chrome. Unlike all the other guardians, she has actual magic powers, as well as built-in backup. The only problem would be if the Shimon have amazing superpowers that can see through Mist illusions and I'm pretty sure we're not going to see that until next arc.
