Awesome. It's gonna be one of those weeks. :D

1. I want to cheer on Lambo here, but I feel like if I do, I'll sound like some sort of Lamaze coach. "PUSH! PUUUUUUSH! THAT'S IT, YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!!" That's a bit awkward.

Also, thanks so much for confirming that Yamamoto is still unconscious, Amano. WE APPRECIATE IT, REALLY. As everyone knows, it's much better to be firmly grounded in cruel, cruel reality than to cling to our flimsy, foolish hopes.

And did Aoba and Ryohei just cease to exist, or is the Vindice prison so utterly abandon-hope-all-ye-who-enter-here that not even the fruitiest of magical plot flashbacks can penetrate its depths?

5. NOOOO, NOT FRANCO. 8( WHY FRANCO HAS GOTTEN INTO THIS. IT'S BECAUSE HE DIDN'T GIVE THEM 90 PERCENT OFF. DAMN IT ALL. (If this flashback was trying to be dramatic, I think it lost something in the translation. XD)

Also, Cozart, you are going to drown in that hat.

6. lol. "We must form a vigilante group! It's the only way! But in order to do so, we'll need powerful leadership... like a 'sky' that can 'wrap up' the various other elements." I cannot believe he actually used the goddamn metaphor. My one regret is that he did not accompany it with air quotes. But in my headcanon he totally did.

The discussion that ensues afterward is pretty funny too. "Shimon Primo was involved in the creation of the Vongola?! IMPOSSIBLE." "WELL, DUH, it's because the Vongola boss is always the best!" "NO WAY, MY BOSS IS TOTES BETTER THAN YOUR BOSS." "OH YEAH, WELL IF YOU HADN'T NOTICED, MY BOSS'S GUARDIAN TOTALLY JUST BEAT YOUR ASS." Heehee. Point, Gokudera.

Also, Lambo should teach Ryohei how to win a chapter in a fight, and come out relatively unscathed. The boy needs lessons.

Cozart and Giotto's level of gay is causing me to giggle rather uncontrollably at this point whenever I see them. Good grief. "Like sky that can wrap up rain, storm and even sun!" (nice to know that Giotto only thought of those elements; clearly he is not good bros with his other guardians) "THERE'S NO ONE BUT YOU, GIOTTO ;A; "
I was really expecting something alone the lines of "OH COOOOZART ~" "I-I LOVE YOU MAN" after that page, but it was only Gokudera exclaiming how fucking awesome Tsuna is - which I'm still okay with, so.

Man, I know. This arc is really on a roll. And given the magnificent set-up we now have for the next chapter, it looks like things are going to get even better. If Amano insists on this kind of good-bad karmic rollercoaster ride where in exchange for a half-dozen really disappointing chapters, we get a half-dozen or so REALLY FUCKING AWESOME ones, I have to say, it was more than worth it.

And this is why I totally can't take these Primo flashbacks seriously anymore. I know it's like the whole reason for this arc and stuff, but I'm just kicking back and enjoying them for the hilarious wtf factor now.

LOOK AT HER, REGAINING THE FANDOM'S AFFECTIONS SO EFFORTLESSLY. I would say we are easily bought, but the truth is, she totally earned it. Between Lambo's awesome characterization this week and last, Yamamoto's return, and HOLY SHIT BYAKURAN, this has been two chapters of solid awesome.

Though now that you mention it, I suppose there are any number of ways she could still go wrong here. Cheating us out of the Yamamoto character development we were all anticipating (although to be fair, I wouldn't count her out on that just yet--so far the character development for Gokudera, Tsuna, Ryohei, and Lambo (I still can't believe it) has been phenomenal, so it seems like she's really on a roll in that department), or cutting away back to Tsuna and co. and leaving us hanging on the whole Byakuran/Yama situation until Yamamoto just APPEARS on Shimon Island in that deux ex machina-y fashion of his and explains what happens through flashbacks. :/

Lol, agreed about Lambo and Ryohei. And hell, forget winning a fight unscathed--how about winning a fight in less than half a dozen chapters? Ryohei should have stuck to his time limit method of fighting after all.

Two flashbacks in, and Giotto and Cozart are already married. It's got to be a record. And we'll always have Paolo to thank for introducing them.

And haha, my favorite was little Aoba. I gotta say, though, it sure was surreal seeing a version of Adelheid that did not feature boobs. XD

If it weren't for all-caps and the ability to bold font in outrageously large sizes, I don't know how I would have coped with a revelation like this. IT WAS THAT SHOCKING. And I'm assuming it's present!Byakuran, since TYL!Byakuran is presumably dead. TYE!Byakuran was locked away in that island prison, though. Though I thought that destroying the Mare rings had sealed away all of his kooky powers for good, and it appears not, so who even knows what the hell's going on now.

Lambo is awesome. And I agree, I'm happy TYL!Lambo thinks of Tsuna as family rather than as a boss. It's what Tsuna would prefer, after all. (Which is another reason why I'm surprised he had such a WTF reaction to it. XD)

Because if he was crippled he has to deal with that feeling of being useless which hasn't happened since he broke his arm, and he'd wonder about whether Gokudera thought he was useless to the Vongola and - just. hm...that wasn't as epic as i thought it would be....

i'll have you know i screamed so hard that i hurt my throat when i scrolled and saw that byakuran somehow came back. i think he's in some ghost form though cuz he doesn't seem to be quite...er...normal looking in that last panel o_O

i haven't screamed that hard since....two weeks ago when i found out Capcom and Level 5 were combining their god-like forces to create a Professor Layton x Phoenix Wright game.

Actually, since I read the spoilers the Byakuran thing wasn't much of a surprise, but there is something we should be more worried about.
This Byakuran has the gay purple tattoo. Which is equivalent to telling all of us "THIS GUY IS EVIL. BAD. BAAAAD." Since when he became "good" in the anime he didn't have that gay tattoo anymore.
Which is bad.
Unless, something weird happens like, uh, Byakuran replaces this Yamamoto with a parallel world's Yamamoto. For some screwed twisted reason.

...Yes, I'm worried.
