NRGH I have like this list of things to do whenever I have spare time and am near a computer, and it goes like, "POST PICS FROM THE HP71/2 PREMIERE" and "FINISH UP THAT MEME" and "WORK ON UNDERCOVER FIC" and "POST RECAP/REACTION POST FROM NEW CHAPTER" and only one of those things ever seems to get done! XD Well, good progress has also been made on the fic, I suppose, but not soon enough for it to actually be an Undercover fic any more, sadly. I'm still having a lot of fun with that thing, though.

Anyway, time to get to the one thing I can still manage to reliably do on the Internet.

THE ONE REDEEMING VIRTUE THIS COVER STILL HAS IS THAT JULIE AND ADELHEID LOOK LIKE THEY ARE PREPARED TO NICK OUT OF THERE AT THE SOONEST OPPORTUNITY AND GO HAVE SLOPPY MAKEOUTS.
ONE WEEK AFTER DEFEATING DAEMON, WE ARE BACK TO DAILY LIFE! Well damned if this doesn't look like my very favorite kind of chapter!
"Crap, I'm gonna be late! I'm gonna get bit to death!" So... does Hibari just like, stand outside the entrance to the school maiming anyone that dares to walk in thirty seconds late? And does he have a list of students that he checks off so that afterwards he can nip off and maim all of the truants as well? Namimori must have an astonishingly good attendance record. Other schools are probably so impressed that they visit hoping to get tips, and leave incredibly traumatized.
*MAKESTE FINISHES TYPING HER POINTLESS TANGENTS AND ACTUALLY READS THE NEXT PANEL!* ...oh. Well, just. Ignore everything I typed above, whatever.
I just adore the concept of Reborn lazily doin' his thing while Tsuna plays hours and hours of Portal 2 or whatnot, only for Reborn to unplug the system at the last second. Almost as much as I adore the notion of Tsuna then staying up in the wee hours of the night just because the thought of going to bed without those levels re-beaten would have haunted his dreams. HOORAY FOR OUR EVERYMAN MAIN CHARACTER.
OH NO, ENMA'S WORST ENEMY, DOGS! Damn, it's a good thing Spade never knew about this. If he'd just used dogs against them instead of his crazy body-parts-where-they-don't-belong illusions, we might not be watching this scene today because FUCK, DOGS, THEY ARE UNSTOPPABLE KILLING MACHINES.
ALSO CARS! CARS ARE ALSO TERRIBLE. Damn, I love these guys. Pit them against the evilest, most fabulous villains imaginable and break every bone in their body and they're just like, "YAWN" but drop them back off in the real world for five minutes and they are just barely hanging on. MY SPECIAL BOYS. ♥
I love that Shitt P's space tricycle has a big sign on the top that actually says "SHITT P!"

Lambo did you seriously go off in the middle of the night to play with a guy who once tried to kill you? YOU'RE ADORABLE. And Large, you actually got up at 3 fucking am to entertain this half-witted child? You're... well, you're not so adorable, really! You are just actually really strange!
SIDE NOTE: I thought Japan used 24 hour notation, presumably so that this exact sort of wacky scenario would not occur?
OH MY GOD VINDICE REALLY DID LET MUKURO OUT OF PRISON?! BECAUSE OF HIS "EFFORTS" IN THE BATTLE AGAINST DAEMON? I take that to mean they were just as tickled at his adorable owl antics as the rest of us.
Also Hibari continues the adorableness trend in this chapter with his continued determination to beat the crap out of Mukuro. I really must see this with my own eyes, I hope Amano doesn't pull another Gokudera on us or something.
So "cleansing" = "liquidation", right? I assume the correction was made after Adelheid's speech back during her own fight with Hibari. At any rate, Tsuna, you had better TUCK IN YOUR SHIRT or else you are in for a world of pain. Delivered by Adelheid, which I for one would consider well worth it, but whatever that is just my personal opinion!

THE WORST PUNISHMENT IS APPARENTLY BEING HUNG FROM THE ROOF OF THE SCHOOL. Lol, this chapter rounds out the list of Makeste's favorite things ever by including ridiculous panels of Tsuna and Enma being upside-down bros. The only thing that could possibly make this chapter any better is GOKUDERA'S FUCKING FACE, OH MY GOD.
"YOU REMIND ME OF GIOTTO AND COZART" he says as though he knew them personally! REBORN ARE YOU JUST BEING A WEIRDO OR IS THERE A REASON FOR YOUR SECRETIVE SMILES? God only knows. God, and Yamamoto. :/

FFFF seriously, does anyone out there actually understand the logic of this? COZART AND GIOTTO, ALL OF YOUR DECISIONS ARE STUPID.
And I don't care what anyone says, not only are the tenth gen Vongola and Simon absolutely 100% reincarnations of the first generation, but Cozart and Giotto clearly planned it out and somehow knew all along that it was going to happen. THAT IS THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY THAT ANY OF IT MAKES ANY SENSE. Someone in the Vongola/Simon families can see the future. And someone else knows some Mukuro magic illusion reincarnation bullshit. And there is a very good chance that that second someone is either an Arcobaleno or Bemuda fucking von Vichtenstein, CURSE THAT MYSTERIOUS MAN.

So, next arc, you had better start ANSWERING SOME QUESTIONS, is all I'm saying. We shall see!

I'm amazed that Tsuna's fractured bones actually healed in one single week. I mean, whichever way I look at it, it's fucking impossible. The Vindice must have some sort of healing powers or advanced medicine to make that miracle possible.

I was actually looking forward to a chapter of Tsuna on a bed and getting to REST for ONCE.

Other than that. Heartwarming chapter! Made me cry in the end actually. Giotto and Cozart are gay and I won't accept otherwise (I mean seriously, look at what Giotto has on his desk). All the people call Cozart "boss" anyways so I don't know if he was even married at the time, eh. And I agree that their decisions were stupid...I don't know if Amano's trying to make it sound tragic that way or something.

I'm slightly annoyed that Gokudera never showed his face this chapter, but it seems to be deliberate and that's somehow hilarious.

In the end my heart belongs to Enma and Tsunaaaaa okay now I can finally calm down and draw things to do with their daily life instead of worrying whether Enma will stay with Tsuna or not. I'm so happy he is. Even if this is the last time they'll be the focus of this manga.

Hmm, wait, didn't this whole dumb arc start off with Tsuna being the official boss before Daemon stepped in to get the Shimon family to step in and mess up the whole thing? So...uh, now...what?

Oh no. The Varia. I wonder whether I should be happy or....well, there isn't much other option. ^^

I picked the perfect time to finally catch up as this arc ends! I love love love these Daily Life chapters.

It's nice to know that Tsuna and Enma are still so freaking inept at dealing with the real world. I love how they were all srs business on the island and all "we will fight together, my ~~one true love~~ friend" and now they're just like "OH MY GOD WHY DOES LIFE HATE US SO MUCH HAAAAALP!!!" I just want to pat them on the head and cuddle them and feed them ice cream asldkfjasdlkfj they are so adorable I can't even.

You know what would have made this chapter even better? Actually seeing Gokudera's reaction faces while Shitt P is stalking him. WTF AMANO YOU MISSED OUT ON A PRIME OPPORTUNITY THERE.

Julie and Adelheid are so. freaking. cute. as;ldfkjsadfl;k and you know they probably had hot makeout sessions afterward lol.

Overall I think this chapter was a good way to close out an arc that I was giving some side-eye to at certain points. Amano does her best when she doesn't forget about the comedic aspects of the manga. And we are getting a Varia Daily Life Chapter/Arc next?!?! OH YES THIS CANNOT DISAPPOINT.

Nice sum. ^^ You forgot one thing, though:

Wasn't there, in this "Inheritance chapter", something like an, you know... Inheritance ceremony going on? Don't tell me both the Ninth and Reborn just went "Uh, whatever, it was interrupted and Tsuna didn't want to become Boss in the first place and just saved the world, sooo, let's forget about it! And have a party with the freshly out of jail Mukuro who was selfless enough to beat the crap out of Daemon who was harassing his girlfriend and is therefore completely reliable!"

...Well, I could see that happening but I would have liked Amano to actually mention it, yaknow. Arc title and all that.

Shitopi-chan hugging Lambo and box weapons on the front page almost makes up for the lack of Gokudera in this chapter. Almost.

And, uh, I sure hope someone from the first generation Vongola or Simon family could indeed see the future, and that it's not just some belief they had back then that friendships were genetic. Then again, it seems to be a reality in a lot of shounen manga... How convenient. (Except for the occasionnal incestuous implications, but oh well.)

Amano probably lost her mind or sth. I wasn't too pleased when I saw the words "Arc end". It barely started for gawds sake. As compared to the Varia, Mukuro or TYL arc, the Shimon-Vongola tension seems more like a pretty lousy filler.

Amano, puhlease give back KHR former glory!

Cozart really is the most stupid and sweetest man in KHR. And this chapter BROKE MY FUCKING HEART... Giotto and Cozart were so melancholic. Maggie isn't Cozart's child, she's just one of his guardians' children.

Japanese sure are weird, if two people couldn't marry for some reason, they were happy if their respective children married each other-I read something like this in this manga- thing that I CAN'T ACCEPT but it's part of their traditions, I guess. It would make more sense if it were really reincarnation, though.

Okay so...I safely made it to Tokyo yesterday, and even though the yen exchange rate sucks ASS and even though i totally shouldn't be buying stuff until my first paycheck comes at the end of october....i totally went to the (shonen) jump store and got a random poster and ring from Reborn!

the ring is byakuran's...which is rather creepy cuz i actually really wanted that one and you don't know what you get till you open the box.

the poster is from the last page of the chapter where gokudera is fighting what's his face the dude with all the lava and shit and then G's lovely face pops out as they talk about G's archery....

so uh....i think you need this poster....like...you NEEEEED this poster...i'd send you a pic of it but idk how to imbed media in comments...idk if i can even do that
