I got a tumblr!

o/ EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS TUMBLRS, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOUR TUMBLRS ARE SO THAT I MIGHT FOLLOW YOUR TUMBLRS AND THUS COMMENCE TUMBLING WITH MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY. Which, if I understand the workings of tumblr correctly, means that my efficiency in virtually every other aspect of my life will take a dive soon afterward. XD

Moving on, KHR 352!

SUMMARY OF THIS CHAPTER:

Dino bids the Sawada home farewell, leaving Tsuna alone with his nightmarish ideas of what pre-curse!Reborn might have looked like (Amano must have had a blast drawing this chapter XD). Reborn handily sums up the dilemma of this arc in a couple of panels ("BASICALLY YOU'LL HAVE TO FIGHT EVERYONE YOU EVER FOUGHT BEFORE"), providing a transition to our cover page, which this week features the Simon family, famous for having the second-hardest-to-spell name of all the families (in fact, Mangareader here is still spelling it "Shimon" as I type), and also for having the most adorable boss, the most Shitt P-est Shitt P, and the most boobs.

We are in fact treated to extra helpings of said boobs as Enma takes home his new Skull only to be coolly turned away by Adelheid (the true boss of the Simon family) because WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO BE LOOKING AFTER BABIES. Skull makes a desperate attempt to plea with her, even taking off his helmet for politeness's sake, but somehow that seems to backfire as well! Skull keeps on trying to demand that they FIGHT FOR HIM, DAMMIT but in the end no one gives a shit.

Meanwhile Fon is STILL standing around on a pole sighing about having no one to be his representative, and--HOLD ON, WHAT THE JESUS.

HOLY SHIT WHY IS HE SO DARLING AND PRECIOUS?!

Anyway, so he's standing around I guess trying to fool us all into doubting whether he really is going to pick I-Pin and Kawahira as his reps (WHICH OF COURSE HE IS), and meanwhile Dino, on account of forgetting how to walk, almost literally stumbles right into the Varia. He and Xanxus have a battle of WHOSE PANEL IS PRETTIEST (which Dino totally wins) on page 10, and Dino proceeds to have a bunch of serious business thinking panels while still lying hilariously flat on his face. Romario calls him on it WHICH IS WONDERFUL, and the next day Tsuna and Reborn bump into Gokudera and Yamamoto on their way to school (EVEN MORE WONDERFUL). Yama and Dera confirm that Reborn has recruited them as well, and has filled them in on the details of his curse also.

Before things start to get too Daily Life again, the Kokuyou Gang shows up out of nowhere to antagonize our heroes. Now that Mukuro is finally out of prison he too can join in on the antagonizing, and wastes no time in swiftly declaring war on Tsuna. This causes Gokudera to sputter and make hilarious faces while Tsuna insists that he doesn't want to fight Mukuro. Mukuro is all BUT WHAT IF YOU HAD TO, and then Verde shows up and everyone makes a bunch of OH SHIT faces and then the chapter ends.

THINGS OF NOTE:

"No matter how many times I try and imagine it, I just come up with weird-ass babies!" Best line ever, or best line ever?
I am way too amused by imagining Adelheid's thought process when Enma brought home a baby. "Oh lord, Enma, JUST BECAUSE THE VONGOLA BOSS HAS HIS OWN BABY DOESN'T MEAN WE HAVE TO GET ONE TOO. YOU DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE TO COPY EVERY SINGLE THING TSUNA DOES JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH HIM, GOD."
I also died when Adel was all "besides, we don't have the budget for diapers and milk and stuff anyway" and Skull was like, "well, that's true--HEY WAIT A SEC--"
I love that Shitt P on the bottom of page six is just UPSIDE DOWN because that's just how she rolls.
"I EXPLAINED IT TO YOU FIVE TIMES EARLIER ARE YOU A FUCKING IDIOT." c-can't breathe oh god. I swear the combination of Enma and Skull is as hilarious as it is out-of-the-blue. Particularly because from what I've seen so far, it seems to be less of a partnership and more like each of them honestly thinks they have adopted the other one as a pet.
Tsuna's latest ring covers BASICALLY HIS WHOLE HAND, and it cracks me up to see him walking around in his school uniform with his bright puppy dog eyes and then HELLO THERE WOULD YOU JUST LOOK AT THAT BLING! WOO MAMA.

Somehow I can't help but think that if Gokudera hadn't finally managed to pull out a victory in the previous arc, Reborn might not have been quite so hasty to recruit him for this team as well. XD
SPEAKING OF GOKUDERA, so far his imagined version of pre-curse!Reborn is the closest to reality, but I like how Reborn seems to have approximately SIX GUNS in his version.
Tsuna fans note--the kid is still refusing to acknowledge his role as the Vongola Tenth. I know this point irks a lot of people, but I kinda can't help but like the fact that he's still stubborn even after all this time.
Interesting that Mukuro is using this as an excuse to fight Tsuna, implying that he actually needs an excuse to fight Tsuna. Or rather, he needs an excuse to get Tsuna to actually fight back, meaning he doesn't want to fight him fight him, he just wants to duke it out for old times' sake. Give it up Chuckles, you are officially a reformed villain.
I would like to point out to you all that in the span of the single page between the bottom of page 14 and the top of page 16, Reborn somehow just TELEPORTED over to Yamamoto's shoulder like it wasn't even a thing, man. Like he'd been there all along.
'Could this be their strongest opponent?' NO BECAUSE BYAKURAN EXISTS. But I'm getting ahead of myself. :P

Second, YES. YES YES YES. Yamamoto's shoulder is like a REBORN MAGNET, man. It's like Reborn is a boomerang and no matter what HE WILL ALWAYS COME BACK TO YAMAMOTO'S SHOULDER IN THE END.

Lol, she has some things in common with Dera's style of right handing, but yeah, she is way stricter and totally unafraid to put her foot down regarding basically anything. Whereas Dera disobeyed an order from Tsuna exactly one time, and apologized like crazy and had to give an inspiring right hand man speech in order to justify it, and yeah. XD

Skull's dynamic with Enma is super win. So looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

And yes, Fon, stop dragging things out already! I need you to go ahead and confirm that Kawahira is your rep so that I can commence FLAILING AROUND LIKE A LUNATIC.

It's not even no because Byakuran, it's no because Uni. Byakuran is pretty strong, but you think any of the 'nice' Mafia families are going to be able to do a thing against her? (I gotta say, I kind of think the Byakuran/Uni team-up is the best team-up ever. No one can stand against the cheerful scheming evil/cheerful innocent (but actually also scheming) good combo!)

The fact that Tsuna doesn't want to be a mafia boss is one of the main reasons why I like him so much. YOU GO KID! 8D In fact, it saddens me that there are little to no fic about him successfully escaping from the mafia. I would so read that! (Possibly write it; except I have no clue HOW Tsuna could pull it off.)

Ha, of course Reborn couldn't wait to be back on Yamamoto's shoulder... Shameless favoritism is shameless.
