IN MY FAIL I forgot to say this in my last post, but welcome, mind_tied! I hope we can have many more enjoyable convos about icons and fandom things and whatever else in the future. ♥

Anyway, it's Friday and MEMES ARE CALLING TO ME so I ganked this from poisontea:

Name a character (or characters) from one of my fandoms and I'll give you:

(d) five things that never happened to that character and/or
(e) five people that character never fell in love with and why

ETA: lol this is fun but WAY more exhausting/time-consuming than I anticipated, so I will get to the rest IN A LITTLE WHILE. sob, it's my own fault for starting with Gokudera.

Okay, I've been trying for ages to think of any personal canon I have for Zuko, and have come up with nothing. XD I BLAME THE ACTUAL CANON, for being so damn satisfying. No holes to fill up except for that thing with his mom, and I haven't decided what I think about that yet.

So I'll do the other questions and come back to that first one if I think of anything. XD

(b) a reason he/she sucks

Ohoho, where do I start? He is DUMB. He is MELODRAMATIC. For a ridiculously long time, he was so mindlessly obsessed with winning back his honor father's love that he never stopped to think about who it was that actually cared about him (IROH WAS RIGHT THERE YOU FOOL). And did I mention he was dumb?

(c) a reason he/she is awesome

He learned from his mistakes. Even if it did take him TWO AND A HALF SEASONS god. He was willing to make the right choice, even if it meant giving up everything he'd ever wanted. He is fundamentally a good kid and has always been a good kid, and that says a lot considering that he grew up surrounded the propaganda of his PSYCHO FIRELORD DAD (and just look at how little sis turned out). And he takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. ...In fact, he takes quite a lot of lickings. Poor Zuko. XD

(e) five people that character never fell in love with and why

1. Jet. For some reason, this relationship between a one-time Fire Nation prince and one-time anti-Fire Nation terrorist didn't pay off. GO FIGURE?

2. Jin. She was sweet, she was pretty, she was kind, and she would have been a great match for an Earth Kingdom peasant whose uncle owned a tea shop. But even if the Fire Nation hadn't come along, he couldn't have ever really forced himself to be that person. It wouldn't have worked.

3. Ty Lee. Ahaha. She, uh. Always kind of scared him, juuuust a little. (You see, friends, Zuko has a bubble. And it is only polite to respect that bubble! It's a little thing we like to call PERSONAL SPACE, and HE IS LOOKING AT YOU NOW, TY LEE.)

4. Toph. She's more like the little sister he never had. Wait. The little sister that doesn't talk down to him and/or kick his ass that he never had. ...Wait. Okay, the non-homicidal little sister he never had. Whatever. The point is, he likes her but JUST NOT IN THAT WAY.

5. Sokka. They never made it out of the "bros before hos" buddy stage; the closest they ever got was that one night when they got reaaaally drunk, and to this day neither of them can quite remember exactly what happened. So they just don't talk about it. |D
