sandrock because it looked like fun! And also because I have nothing to do today sob.What is your LiveJournal username? How did you come up with it? Makeste! Okay, so this is what happened. I was out at a Chinese restaurant one night, and I got a fortune cookie that had a typo in it: the words "makes" and "the" were smooshed together so that it read "makesthe." And I thought, wow, that would actually be kind of a cool name. So I STOLE it, but I ditched the h because let's all be honest, it would have only held me back. And that is the story of that.
Have you renamed before? If so, what were your old names? If you haven't renamed, what names would you want to rename to? ...let's say no. XD Uh, I guess if I had to rename I'd let someone else pick a name for me, since I really don't have any idea.
How much does your userinfo say about you? Basically, that I am a fangirl. And it also hints that I find Yamamoto attractive. Just a bit.
How long have you been on LiveJournal? Well, I lurked for a little while, but I can't recall how long exactly, so I'll just go by the date I created this journal, which was January 25 of this year. So not that long, but a little while.
What is the longest amount of time you've gone without posting? About three weeks, I think? I tend to go through periods where I just don't feel like posting at all, so all I do is lurk and comment. And then of course there are periods when I post a lot! It mostly balances out.
On average, how many entries do you post per day? About one every other day, I'd say. I post daily towards the end of the week, but not so much at the beginning, so.
What are your posts normally about?
Is your LiveJournal friends only? Why or why not? It is not! Partly because, like I said, I don't really post personal stuff here, but also because I feel like if I'm putting something up on the Internet, I might as well put it for everyone to see, because why not? Sometimes I do post private entries, but when they're not, they're pretty much always unlocked.
Does your LiveJournal have an actual title or are you merely USER @ LiveJournal? I change my journal title somewhat frequently; every month or so on average. They're almost always song lyrics; the current title/subtitle is Take it from the top/who's to say where the wind may blow?, which is from "Chapter One" by Lifehouse.
How long do you see yourself staying on LiveJournal? Uh, for the foreseeable future, at least. I like it here; it's comfy and friendly and not a little addictive. :P
How many people are on your friends list, not counting private journals, media journals, etc? 49 people, not counting myself and one translation journal.
Why do you choose to add a person to your friends list? Generally, if they're smart/funny/interesting, and we have at least one or two things in common. And of course, if someone friends me I'll add them back.
Is your friends list an actual list of people you consider friends, or more of a reading list? Friends! Sometimes they're friends who also happen to be incredibly talented writers, but that's usually just a happy bonus. If I friend someone it's usually because I like them and I'm interested in what they have to say.
How often do you read your friends list? At least several times a day. I don't always reply (because sometimes I'm strapped for time, or sometimes I just don't know what to say), but I pretty much read everything.
Do you use filters when viewing your friends list? I almost always use the journal-only filter, because I usually check the communities that I'm interested in at least once a day.
How much do you talk to people on your friends list off of LiveJournal? ...like never, sob. I pretty much don't IM, for a number of reasons, so LJ is pretty much it!
Do you do friends cuts? Why or why not? Nope, and I doubt I ever will. So far, I haven't had any problems keeping up with my f-list, and as far as my entries go, my journal isn't friends-only anyway, so there's no real reason to do a cut.
Do you regularly participate in friending memes? If not, how do you normally find people to friend? I do, though I usually stick to just the KHR ones, since 90 percent of what I post relates to Reborn in some way, so I prefer to friend people who I know won't be bothered by that.
How often do you add new friends to your friends list? Hmm, I'd say it averages out to about once a month. Usually it's several people at once, though (lol friend memes).
Do your friends have to have things in common with you? At least one or two things in common, always. There needs to be something to touch base on, after all.
How many userpics do you get maximum? How many of those slots do you actually use? I have the max you can get without paying, which is 15. I USE THEM ALL, because it's only 15! I mean, come on.
Do you mostly use icons made by yourself or by others? I get them from other people, since I'm not super-talented with graphics, and am also far too lazy. And the icons other people make are always so pretty. XD
Do you have your own icon community? How often do you post in it? Nooooope.

fandomsecrets made a secret a little while ago saying (s)he had no respect for people whose icons were all from a single fandom. Well, I'm one of those people. XD Seeing as KHR is my main fandom, and I only have the 15 slots as previously mentioned, all my icons are Reborn icons.How do you find icons to use? I get them from
hitman_reborn! There's never any shortage of good icons to find there; I love this fandom.How often do you upload new icons to use in your userpics? About once a month. It would be more, but I have to be picky about which icons I upload and replace, having only the fifteen. I'm happy with my current set, though.

What do your userpics say about you? THAT I LIKE KHR lol. And that I'm fond of Yama and Dera, and that I have a lot of happy icons and very few emo/pissed off icons, because I rarely use them. And that Yama/Wall = OTP.
Which fandoms are you most active in? KHR. THAT'S SERIOUSLY IT; I still read Naruto every week and am current with my favorite shows, but when it comes to fandom I only have the attention span for one at a time, so.
What do your choice of fandoms say about you? That I'm addicted to character-driven series, especially anything shounen (...or shounen-ish). Also, that I only own Nintendo consoles. XD
Do you make friends based on fandom? Yes yes a thousand times yes. If I'm really into a series, it'll be like, all I ever want to talk about, so having friends that are also into that fandom is kind of essential. Once I get to know someone, I'm obviously less concerned with the fandom connection at that point because there are other things to base the friendship on, but in the beginning, fandom is as good a thing as any. Besides, I've met so many awesome people through the KHR fandom. <3
How many fandom communities are you a part of? Uhhhh, let's see.
capslock_khr, colbert_report, gokuharu, hitman_reborn, khr_drabble, khr_gen, khrficrecs, rebornfic, thedailyshow, and yamagoku. So, 10. And a couple of the others might count as well, but I only listed communities that were based around a single fandom here.Do you join fanfic or icon communities or only the general communities? A few fic communities, but pretty much no icon communities. Since I only ever use KHR icons anyway, I just wait for the iconners to post in the main comm.
How many fandom communities do you moderate? None. I've modded in the past, and it's more stress than it's worth for me. And I always just end up flaking out, so. XD
How often do you check fandom communities for new posts? My main ones, at least once a day, usually several times. For the others, about once a week.
Do you contribute to fandom? If so, by way of what? I post fics and FSTs. It's fun. /o/

fandom_wank? Noooo, and I hope I never am.What is one thing you wish you could change about fandom? It would be nice to have a few more discussion posts. I love fic and art and pairing talk, but I also love to talk about the plot as well, and that's somewhat rare around here. Other than that, the KHR fandom is pretty much awesome.

I KNOW, OMG. 15 is like enough to whet your appetite, but then they take everything away before you can really get going. And it is torture trying to decide which icon to vote off the island when you find a really shiny new one.

It's brutal. BUT IT TAUGHT ME HOW TO MAKE A HARD CHOICE. And each time it chips away at my soul a little more so that I'm sure that one day I will just be an empty shell of my former self and then it will be no problem!

They were fun at the time, but not so much fun to look back on now. XD
I picture the wall, like, stalking him afterward, even back into the past, so that sometimes Yamamoto will be walking to school or something, and he'll suddenly get A FEELING!!1 and look behind him really quickly but there's nothing there! So he continues on, but keeping his guard up, and then he hears something behind him and he TURNS AROUND WITH SWORD IN HAND but it's too late! IT'S THE WALL YAMA DO YOU THINK YOU EVER REALLY HAD A CHANCE?
But of course, it's not all rape. Sometimes the wall sneaks into his bedroom and leaves chocolates on his pillow for Valentine's Day, etc. It's all very sweet. <3

Heh, I actually pronounce it as Muh-KEST, so pretty much the same as you but without the last syllable. But it can probably be pronounced any number of ways SEEING AS IT'S NOT EVEN A WORD eheh. One of these days I should do like a poll or something to see how everyone else reads it.

VIVA LA NINTENDO~ yeah, the DSi seems like a fairly pointless upgrade, and their game lineup has been a little disappointing to me lately (except for Animal Crossing, which I am geeking out about. Oh, and Guitar Hero and Rock Band. AND NO MORE HEROES 2 I can't wait for that), but I'm still a hardcore Nintendo fan. MY CHILDHOOOOOD
