I feel like jumping up and down.

Okay, so I don't post much about politics here and I don't really intend to much in the future, but right now, I just have to say: this is pretty much the proudest I've ever been as an American.

I'm just so happy right now. I can't even describe it. It's just... wow.

ETA: Haha, I'm reading my f-list right now and I can't stop grinning.

I-I'm still in awe. It's just so amazing.

Oh My God.

:DDDDDDDD

I have such an adrenaline rush from this.

-so cheesed up and HAPPY-

I'm like beside myself with giddiness. I just want to pump my fist in the air and shout, but I can't because I'll wake people up. :P

But man, I'm so thrilled. My sister was crying during his speech, heh. I've just got this overwhelming feeling of pride and happiness and adrenaline and HELL YESSSS. :D

Same here XD So I'm venting my shouts and screams of excitement through the internet, haha~

EXACTLY. I have never felt prouder of this country than I do right now. :'D

Yeah, same. I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SHOUT BUT AT LEAST I CAN TYPE IN ALL-CAPS, heh.

And it's like the first time in nearly eight years where I can honestly say that I AM proud of my country and really mean it. Everyone came out and made their voices heard and it worked and we've made history tonight. And the feeling is just amazing. Oh man. :DDD

I KNOW. BEST FORM OF EXPRESSION I CAN DO AT THE MOMENT, AND THAT'S FINE.

My mom called and made up a song about Obama winning. Priceless. XD

I was soooo worried about the results, and once it was decided, I-I wanted to sob out of pride. So many people voted and history was made. I feel fantastic amongst other great feelings that I was a part of that, that I made it happen. :D

IT STILL GETS THE EXCITEMENT ACROSS. :D

Haha, that's awesome. I WOULD TOTALLY SING A SONG FOR HIM RIGHT NOW.

I honestly wasn't that worried myself because I've felt that this was going to happen for a long while now, but to finally have it confirmed was like having this big bubble of joy burst in my chest, you know? It's not just that he won, either; it's that he did it by such a huge margin, and it means that so many Americans are united behind him and it's just like, wow, we're really moving in a right direction again after so long. And like you said, to be able to take part in all that and be part of what made it happen--just amazing. Amazing.

LOL. I don't know anyone from my f-list who voted for McCain.
