Soooo, yeah, I kind of just haven't had the energy to post anything or keep up with my f-list much lately (for which I apologize). BUT, I kept up enough to note that I got tagged by

As for me, Happy Thing of the Day: My sister (who trains at the same karate dojo that I do) tested for her first black stripe on her brown belt, and passed! And I got to beat her up. 8D IT WAS FUN I'm proud of her and also how often do you have a legitimate excuse to battoru your sibling shounen-retard-style? So I'm sore and tired and happy now. Good tiiimes. (And before anyone can cry abuse, please note that she'll have the opportunity to return the favor in May when I test for my third-degree black belt. XD)

01. What are your nicknames?

02. How do you style your hair?
I usually either pull the sides back with a butterfly clip, or just put it in a ponytail. I have long curly hair that has a tendency to frizz out even with gel and stuff in it after a while, so I don't usually leave it down. Not that anyone cares, because this is KIND OF AN ODD QUESTION.
03. What's new in your life right now?
I recently got a new job working part-time as a customer service rep, so I guess that, though it's not particularly thrilling in any way. Also, CHRISTMAS. THE SEASON OF JOY AND GIVIIING. That's always fun.
04. How many colours are you wearing now?
Six, counting the pattern on my t-shirt, and my socks.
05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Oh man, I am introverted like you wouldn't even believe. I like people and I'm not even necessarily that shy; it's just that social stuff exhausts me pretty quickly. I'd rather be alone with my computer and precious, precious Internet. |D
06. What are you doing while filling out this meme?
Sitting on a chair with my legs crossed, and pondering what I'm going to eat for lunch.
07. Do you nap a lot?
No, but I get more sleep than most people, so it balances out.

Pumpkin cheesecake. SO DELICIOUS~
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes, depending on whether I'm washing my hair, what I'm wearing, whether I'm being forced against my will to put on makeup, etc.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
Livejournal, Gmail, Google, Weather.com, and oftentimes YouTube, Wikipedia, and CNN.com too.
13. What was the last book you finished reading?
The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger. Just recently decided to reread the Dark Tower series over the holidays, since it's been a while.
14. Do you dress up or dress down?
Usually the latter. As informal as I can be while still looking nice, is the general rule.
15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
Another Way to Die by Jack White and Alicia Keys.
16. What's the last DVD you bought?
Wall-E! Haven't gotten The Dark Knight yet because of Christmas budgeting. :(
17. Have you ever done anything not many people have?
I've served on a jury, does that count? It was simultaneously fascinating and extremely boring, however that makes sense.
18. What is your favourite potato chip flavor?
Sour Cream & Onion, probably; it's the one I get tired of the least. Though regular tortilla chips are heaven provided there is guacamole for dipping them in. (Which, why would you even eat them otherwise?)
19. What's the last movie you watched?
Serenity; I watched it last weekend with a couple of my siblings. I will never, ever get tired of that film; it's so perfect in so many awesome ways.
20. What are you most looking forward to in the coming month?
Christmas. I'm sure that's like the most original answer ever, haha.
21. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Mostly the cold weather. It was so warm on Wednesday (thank you Yamamoto!), and then it got freezing again, so overall the warm weather lasted just long enough to make you want to kill yourself afterward. XD
22. What classes are you taking right now? And if you're not in school any more, what's your job?
I work as a customer service rep for a boring company that does price comparisons for things like phone and cable services. It kind of sucks, but for some reason I'm amused by the novelty of having a job that sucks. I like being able to go around saying, "I hate my job!" and then people are left wondering why I sound so cheerful as I say it. (BECAUSE I'M WEIRD, is why.)
23. Do you like to clean?
Not really. I generally try to tidy as I go so that clutter doesn't pile up or anything, because I absolutely hate having to do a major cleaning job. But I don't mind it so much if it's just something small, like putting away laundry or taking out the trash.
24. Would you enter a relationship with your ideal partner, even if you knew he/she was seriously involved with/married to someone else and would never leave them?
Uh, no. That's hardly ideal. XD
25. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do everyday?
Wake up. I'm always freezing in the winter, so getting out of my warm cozy bed is like walking into a refrigerator. It takes all my willpower, sob.

even though we totally got ripped off; they paid us each a total of FIFTEEN BUCKS for three days of jury-ing. As far as trials go, it was pretty ho-hum--someone suing someone else over injuries sustained in a car accident, basically--but I still had the occasional flashback to all those times I'd seen trials on TV and in movies and so forth. XDno subject
