1. Okay. I will admit it. For all that the ":D :D 8059!" comments in the comm seemed kind of overboard...




I DO HAVE TO ADMIT, THAT WAS PRETTY DAMN GAY.

Seriously, great moment for both of them, but especially for Gokudera. And just a little heartwrenching. Their expressionssss god Amano what are you trying to do to me.

2. I'm not actually worried about Yamamoto, but that doesn't mean I still don't want to know what happened to him. ;_;

3. More importantly, though, I want to see what happens with THIS. Because HOLY SHIT, YES. Not only have I been waiting and waiting to finally see Gokudera fight again (SISTEMA C.A.I. GET???), but I've been dying to see a rematch between him and Gamma. And especially under these new circumstances (the above GAY, and him not knowing Yamamoto's fate), I think it's a pretty safe bet Dera will be hankering for some payback.

4. Seriously, MOAR GOKUDERA VS GAMMA NOW, PLZ.

5. It says a lot about one's level of obsession when one writes an excited gushing post about a chapter which has technically not even been released yet. sob

IF SQUALO CAN SURVIVE BEING EATEN BY A SHAAAAAARK, YAMAMOTO CAN HANDLE A MEASLY BASE BEING RIPPED APART ON TOP OF HIM. Ooooor at least that's what I'm telling myself. XD

It is; the beauty of it is that it's a great moment either way. Hell, I'm thinking of it mainly in friendship terms myself, and it's still heartwrenching. I can't get over Gokudera's expression when he reaches out his hand, and how Yamamoto is just calm and reassuring and then WHOOMP goes the ceiling and Dera's just like, D: *sucker for angst*

ahahah the gayness level dips for me too... but yamamoto's smile is like a brand new mona lisa, man. there are like a hundred possible fangirl interpretations, these are just a few:

1. "gokudera's in ryohei-sempai's hands, he should be okay."
2. "don't worry, hayato, i'll be just fine!"
3. "gokudera, you - you wanted to save me? *gushes as he plummets*"

I do think it's cute how he's kind of sweatdropping a little, like, 'ohhhh shit this is probably not good' even as he's clearly trying to do the whole STEADY RELIABLE GUARDIAN OF RAIN thing. XD There's definitely room for multiple interpretations there, oh Yama.
