1. Carnival (The Pillows)

(Trufax: I can't stay in a bad mood while listening to this song.)

2. Chapter One (Lifehouse)

(This song has some of my favorite lyrics ever (All the leaves are turning and the sky fades to gray/Strange our life coincides with the seasons of today/Who's to say where the wind will blow?). It's really sweet and hopeful.)

3. Charlie (Red Hot Chili Peppers)

(The guitar riff in the second half has a terrible habit of getting stuck in my head for hours. So badass.)

4. City of Blinding Lights (U2)

(Such a gorgeous song. ♥ My favorite part is the "Time..." buildup toward the end, and then the final chorus. It's so alive, somehow.)

5. Climbing Up The Walls (Radiohead)

(Wonderfully creepy. And of course, it's Radiohead, so I hardly need to say that it's awesome. :P)
