What are you studying/What are you working as: Contemporary Media Design... what this translates into is a mix of a little of everything in the expanding field of futuristic entertainment.. such as film, animation, game design. Essentially I'm in a school that allows you to combine multiple majors into your own... so I'm doing everything from animation & comp sci, media studies, creative writing, etc...
5. What makes you happy:... a lot... XD Little happy moments, freedom and time off to do whatever I want, ridiculous fandoms, being with friends, concerts or just singing off-key to my ipod, awesome movies, cartoons... err...
6. What are you listening to now/have listened to last: Space and the Woods - Late of the Pier... they put new music on their myspace and they're still one of my favs~ ♥

What is particularly good/bad about my LJ (it can be anything from my snarky social commentary to my moodtheme): I love all the memes you put since I must admit I'm much more of a meme junkie than I like to admit. I also like a lot of your opinions about things... whether its reborn or about life in general. I think you have a positive and insightful view so it's a pleasure to read. Also I'm forever intrigued by this... minibang =o... (or rather what it is XD;)
8. An interesting fact about you: I guess my mom would say -> I'm a college junior even though I'm only 18... I kinda... skipped a few years XD;; I guess... I can also mention my eyes change color and I lived in Japan for a while.
9. Are you in love/have a crush at the moment: noep.
10. Favorite place to be: In the city, just people watching or walking around. I love unique areas and watching crazy and interesting people interact. Any pretty deserted area works too. My friend and I love finding abandoned fields or places to just explore. I feel like I'm still 12 in some old fiction novel. So essentially... anywhere that isn't plain old suburbia
11. Favorite lyric: ... there are a lot. But I guess lyrics that have made me feel particularly warm inside are:

12. Best time of the year: I don't ever like it too humid or too cold, but a breeze and rain is always welcome. I love the snow, and sometimes I love strong winds... so hrm... I suppose any time of year that isn't painful.
13. Weirdest food you like: Okonomiyaki gets a few awkward faces when I eat it. Lol. It's made of cabbage, squid, special flour, green onion, tenkatsu, bonito flakes and egg. I used to make it in japan so since I found a place that makes it it reminds me of it so sometimes it fills my

1. A film: This is England -> It's so harsh that right after I didn't know if I wanted to watch it again but... in retrospect it's a wonderful movie with awesome characters and has slowly turned into a favorite. It's about Skinheads in the 1980s in Britain.
2. A book: Kite Runner -> I haven't read it yet, but I just finished the movie and it's absolutely delightful. However, a book that has stayed with me for a while though if you're up for an INSANE reading challenge (like... read up on the history of Pakistan if you want to read it) is Shame by Salman Rushdie. Rewarding but... I do recommend sparknoting it while reading if you plan to read it on your own.
3. A song: Insomnia - Electric President. Discovered from an FMV I adore to death and is an awesome song to boot. It fills me with a lot of peaceful and passionate emotions all at the same time.
4: A band: Super hard... especially since I don't really know your kind of music. I mean I would either recommend Hadouken! or the Hush Sound since they have been record-long favorites (super different though). The Hush Sound I have only loved more besides their powerful songs, but after meeting them I felt like I met the nicest and most wonderful people in the world... particularly the female singer. She is the epitome of sweet, lovely and humble. I've met her parents who are also so warm and wholesome...She's so personable and sincere... Probably one of the most unique and touching concert experiences of mine. (Hadouken! Is just a bunch of ridiculously adorable and dorky boys who are hilarious in their own tour blogs and videos)
FANDOM
1. Favorite Fandom: @_@ I like a lot of things but when it comes to being part of the fandom, all in all, the Skins fandom has been one of the best to me. A lot of them are into delicious music (best fanmixes I've ever heard), are great writers, and the fandom can go from silly fangirling & shipping to serious intellectual discussions about symbolism & character analysis. Also people in the fandom are really dedicated to supplying every morsel of music, fashion and guest appearances to the fandom. I also like how many of the fans realize the faults of the show (they can be critical of their own fandom and appreciate it since I believe everything has bad and good sides) It has its ups and downs but its the most passionate I've been in the fandom of something I enjoy... most fandoms for things I love are too small are or too crazy for my taste. (only downside is only one IRL friend is in it with me XD)
2. OTP/OT3: another hard one XD;; I guess I'd have to go with YurixAlice because they're classic and what can I say? I'm really hardcore passionate about good cannon & they're really classic romance well done. I also like SidxCassie a lot because to me they're a bit of a contemporary romance.
3. Icon/Fic Journal (so I can join): I had one but its kinda dead... right now I'm running a 'selling old anime stuff for college' store though if you're interested XD. (

1. One thing you like about me: You seem like a really sweet person. I don't believe you judge people as long as they're not elitist and judgmental. In other words... you seem to be a really open person. Also, as said above you have a generally positive attitude and you're really insightful. Overall, you're you and you don't try to be what you're not and you don't apologize for it. Props maan.
2. Two things you like about yourself: UHHHH. Well I like that I stay a kid at heart for the most part... I'm practical but I still love toys, cartoons, kids food > adult food (ie: Hot Chocolate vs. Coffee), video games, dressup, superheros, imaginary friends, etc... because I think being happy and zen with the little things and letting your imagination and creativity free is always important. I guess on the opposite side I'm pretty responsible and self-reliant so even though I like having fun and being silly I also can deal well in an adult situation if I must and I like being competent and aware at all times.

- Haha, the long and short of minibang is that everyone who signed up for it has until July 3rd to finish writing a 5000-word fic (minimum) based on a random prompt. Basically, lots of people signed up IN A LAPSE OF SANITY, only to eventually face the hard cold reality of "YOU HAVE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS LEFT TO FINISH THIS SHIT." XDDD
- I've always wanted to try okonomiyaki; it sounds delicious.
- I really like that one Hush Sound song you suggested for Shamal a few weeks ago, so I definitely think I'm gonna check them out. o/

One thing you like about me: Aside from the above, your taste in music is also excellent from what I've seen. And it's stuff I probably never would have heard of otherwise, so that's awesome. <3

I love my weapon collection XD I hope to get more as time goes on though. Here's anoter fact for you then: I'm somewhat skilled with the whips, and pretty well with the knives. A close friend of mine taught me the knives in self defense, and I taught myself the whips out of boredom. XD
