Some spoilers for KHR 244 are cropping up at Mangahelpers, so I FEEL LIKE POSTIN'.1.
There's another popularity poll coming.
The characters are ordered in groups. (Dream teams, but vs each other xD)
Excellent. I'M GOING TO TAKE SIDES IN EVERYTHING.
Though man, some of these match-ups are serously not fair. Kyoko vs Haru? It's almost like they're trying to stir up wank in the fandom. XD
MY FAVORITE MATCH-UPS:
Gamma vs Shamal (I suddenly have a desperate desire for these two to meet.)
Adult Reborn vs TYL!Tsuna (Battle of the godmodes?)
TYL!Yamamoto vs TYL!Squalo (THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT FAIR AT ALL. Except for the part where even Squalo would probably root for Yamamoto in secret. But still.)
Lambo vs Adult Lambo (And this one is just horrible. XD HE IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY.)
Hibari vs Dino (Is anyone even going to treat this as an actual popularity battle, as opposed to a battle of who-tops-who? AMANO DO YOU KNOW YOUR FANS NOT AT ALL?)
Hibari vs Kusakabe (Kusakabe's hair wins by default.)
Mammon vs Fran (This is another one of those horrible match-ups. Can you imagine if Mammon loses? NOT ONLY DID YOU DIE, YOU WERE THEN BEATEN BY YOUR REPLACEMENT IN A POPULARITY CONTEST. Way to rub it in orz.)
TYL!Tsuna vs Adult Tsuna (...someone is going to have to explain this to me, actually.)
Tsuna vs Gokudera (Come on, if Gokudera won, he'd probably commit seppuku.)
Xanxus vs Byakuran (BATTLE OF DICKISHNESS.)

It seems the Sky lion can transform into a Mantle form (this part is kind of confusing, not sure)
This is one of those "spoilers" that highlights the disadvantage of reading third-hand accounts of the chapter on an Internet forum. XD What the hell is a mantle form? As far as I know, a mantle is either a cape, or one of the layers of the Earth. SOMETHING APPEARS TO BE LOST IN THE TRANSLATION HERE. ???
Incidentally, the lion's name is apparently Natsu, which forces one to wonder who would win in a "cutest name" battle between him and Uri. XD

It seems the box animals from the vongola boxes can turn into weapons.
The weapons are especially designed for the Vongola and the weapons belonged to the 1st generation Vongola's.
SWEET although part of me is saddened that the weapons aren't based on, say, the fourth generation of Vongola. Mainly because that part of me really wants to see Tsuna battle with a fork.

Squalo says that "Wolfsbane" is a very capable trickster.

...Is anyone else suddenly excited about the prospect of Squalo possibly narrating this entire battle? I mean, seriously, would that not be epic? BEST COMMENTARY EVER.

Why isn't Mukuro v Byakuran there???? I suppose they've already fought, but I wanted to see more of that badass fight!
DUDE SQUALO VERSUS YAMAMOTO - THAT FIGHT WOULD BE SO RIDICIOUSLY LOUD AND HAPPY. I can imagine Yamamoto laughing through that fight and Squalo VOIIIIIIIIIIIing at him to shut up. orz;
2. Or a mantle could mean an architectural piece that supports the upper brickwork of a furnace. Like a hearth. <3
Though the chances of Tsuna's lion turning into a fancy piece of metalwork are probably quite small...
I'd say the cape is more likely.
3. They'll be like the original Vongola! I suppose. I mean, Tsuna's basically the first reincarnated in a smaller body. xDDD
4. SQUALO MUST MAKE COMMENTS ON EVERYTHING. I really hope he's somehow got some kind of audio system on him so he can yell at Yamamoto through out the entire fight. (x

I guess it's possible Mukuro vs Byakuran is there, and it just wasn't listed in the spoilers. Supposedly there are like 45 or so matchups, so not all of them were listed. I want to see who else Gokudera is going up against, for God's sake.
I bet Squalo's training was a lot like that. Man, I really want to see flashbacks already. XD

3. Yeah, it's not the first time the manga has drawn comparisons between Tsuna's generation and Vongola Primo's generation. I guess Amano thinks it makes them more special. XD

I hope it is there. I wonder who would win in that fight, actually. Because Mukuro is much hotter but Byakuran... is probably more badass. If appearance and strength was taken into consideration, I think Mukuro might win. I can't believe Byakuran is THAT skinny considering he eats all those marshmallows...
Squalo must hate Yamamoto for just being too carefree like that sometimes. xDD I want flashbacks too.

Anyway, I just took a look at all the match-ups, and it doesn't look like it's there. That kind of sucks... especially since for some reason Mukuro's matched up against Xanxus. I mean, come on, how random is that? XD

3. Yeah, that's an interesting point. And I guess it's also that the first generation would have been the most important (since they founded the family and all), so it makes Tsuna's generation seem that much more important as well.

Now that Dino is finally back, Shamal is easily the most conspicuous absentee. I really want to see him again, damn it. And I know the match-up makes no real sense (unless it's like, "Gokudera's former mentor vs Gokudera's former adversary, and also they're both hot thirty-somethings"), but I can't bring myself to care too much, because both of them are awesome and I miss them.
And yeah, where is Mukuro? They bothered to tell us that he was probably still alive, but then they just sort of dropped the subject; NOT FAIR.
