Further ramblings on KHR 244
The chapter 244 RAW is up now at Mangahelpers, and it is ever so much fun.1. As expected, the cover is in fact the cutest thing ever. They all look adorable and I want to adopt them all and start a Vongola Daycare. (LOOK HOW HAPPY THEY ARE. SERIOUSLY. COULD YAMAMOTO BE BEAMING ANY MORE?)
2. Further thoughts on the popularity poll match-ups: 1) Battle #8 is absolutely not fair, 2) I-Pin got the same treatment as Lambo, lol, and 3) BATTLE #27. ALSO NOT FAIR. I love Uri but Kangaryuu is also epic.
And Leon is going to kick Reborn's ass.
3. COLOR PAAAAAGE. I cannot stop staring at Gokudera, holy shit. THE PRETTIEST GUARDIAN.
4. Also noted on the color page: Tsuna's glove looks amazingly cool. It's not the sort of thing I would normally notice, but just... loook, it's so shiny and blue and pretty and that's some of the best coloring I've seen on an official manga page. His dying will flame, too. When did the art get this amazing and why did I not notice?
5. MUKURO. If you're going to be so prominent on the cover, DO SOMETHING DAMN IT. Start by illusioning Chrome's skirt to be longer, orz. YOU'RE SUPPOSEDLY ALIVE, SO ACT LIKE IT!!1
Also, is he the only one of the guardians who isn't going to be switched out, then? I guess since Chrome's the one with the ring, they're like, "Whatever." So poor TYB!Mukuro is stuck floating in his prison test tube while the others have fantastic future adventures... maybe this is karma for his being a villain that one time. XD
6. Aside from the red hair, lava guy seriously looks exactly like Shamal. To the point where I'm seriously considering the possibility that they're related or something, because even in a manga you don't usually get that kind of resemblance unless something is afoot.
7. SUDDENLY, SNAKES, HUNDREDS OF THEM. Isn't this the second time now that Amano's decided to have someone attack Tsuna with a bunch of snakes? Are they the new sharks, or what? TSUNA IS NOW INDIANA JONES.
8. I love how Squalo on this page appears to just be like, "'Sup, guys," and Dino's all like, "!" I AM EASILY AMUSED.
9. ...It is a cape.
I'm sorry, just... I'll be over in the corner here, dying. XDDDD TSUNA'S SECRET WEAPON IS ACTUALLY, LITERALLY A GODDAMN CAPE.
The sad thing is, it really does make him look fucking badass and I 100% believe it is capable of powering him up. Sob.
