This was one of the first Radiohead songs I ever heard, and it's still one of my faves.
4. Mr. Brightside (The Killers)
It's just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
'Cause I'm Mr. Brightside
This song always cheers me up. Which I realize it probably shouldn't do since I don't quite think it was intended as a feel-good song. XD But there you go.
5. Master of Puppets (Metallica)
End of passion play, crumbling away
I'm your source of self-destruction
Veins that pump with fear, sucking darkest clear
Feeding on your death's construction
The solo in this song (the one that starts about around 3:30-ish) in is one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. It's very pretty but still undeniably metalish; very badass.
6. Map of the Problematique (Muse)

That when we bleed, we bleed the same
It's Muse, which means that probably 3/4ths of my flist probably has this song already, but hey. I still like it. XD
7. Marching Bands of Manhattan (Death Cab for Cutie)
Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole
Just like a faucet that leaks
And there is comfort in the sound
I adore this song. It's like the essence of everything I love about Death Cab. Definitely a favorite.
8. Monuments and Melodies (Incubus)
My past is perilous
Each scar I bear sings
Monuments to where I have been
And melodies to where I am going
One of the slower Incubus songs, but it has some of my favorite lyrics.
9. Minerva (Deftones)
And God bless you all
For the song you saved us
I love the guitar in this song; it's almost hypnotic. I could fall asleep to it.
10. My Name is Jonas (Weezer)
My name is Wepeel
Got a box full of your toys
They're fresh out of batteries
But they're still making noise
I have no idea what this song means, but it's ridiculously catchy. :P I love to sing it.
