Sometimes... there are just no words.

1. My, Tsuna, don't you just look particularly badass today. I APPROVE. And I swear, Amano is easily my favorite mangaka when it comes to color pages. I don't know what it is about her coloring, but her pages always look fantastic. A+.

Speaking of color pages, let me make some observations about that awesome two-page spread:

Vying for the title of MOST ADORABLE: Tsuna, Uni and Spanner. And also Giannini. Look at him, standing there with that derpy face next to Kyoko's butt. Awwww.
And in the category of MOST HILARIOUS, we've got Ryohei, Romario (WHAT THE HELL IS THAT POSE) and Shouichi, who appears to be dangling from a fishhook. I cracked up at Shou probably longer than I should have.
Are Nosaru and Tazaru's romanized names really "NSR" and "TZR"?? Seriously? If so, are they abbreviations, or acronyms? I will give a million dollars to the person who comes up with the best Nosaru and Tazaru acronyms.*
Hibari almost looks like Haru. I loled. XD
Speaking of guys who look like girls, ALL OF THE VARIA LOOK FEMININE. ALL OF THEM. IS THAT REALLY SUPPOSED TO BE XANXUS. HOLY SHIT.
I want Gokudera's hoodie so fucking bad.

2. I don't know about anyone else, but to me, this page clearly indicates that Uni, Kyoko and Tsuna have all developed spontaneous crushes on Kawahira. (As well they should.) I note that Gokudera appears to be quite jealous in the background. And Yamamoto is totally amused, of course.

Also, "BY THE WAY, BYAKURAN IS A VERY HORRIBLE MAN" = Most obvious statement of the goddamn millennium. WHICH MEANS IT IS INSTANTLY MY NEW FAVORITE QUOTE IN REBORN.

3. ...

Well, there goes my appetite for the next... ever. Man, Daisy, you are like... the opposite of attractive. WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?!

Also, I like how Romario saw there was a lack of Basil, and took it upon himself to fill that necessary position. You're a good man, Romario. A good man.

4. I can't decide if this is incredibly badass, or incredibly gay. XD IT'S A FUCKING FLYING HORSE WITH FLAMING WINGS... AND YET. THERE'S SOMETHING SUSPICIOUSLY FABULOUS ABOUT IT.

I think this pretty much confirms the real reason why TYL!Tsuna brought the younger Vongola to the future to fight. It seems like Byakuran knows the ins and outs of all of the TYL kids' techniques already. Makes sense, I guess. Although THIS REALLY SUCKS, first Squalo and now Dino. D: ~~WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS. I VOTE FOR SHAMAL.~~

8. FUCK YEAH. I was waiting for Amano to remember Hibari was there. XD

Also, the line "Hey, bitches," might just single-handedly make up for EVERY TRANSLATION ERROR INP HAS EVER MADE. And then some. (Unless he really is saying, "Hey, bitches"... but surely that can't actually be true. Right? Can magic truly happen?)

9. Ooh la la, we finally get to see the first Cloud Guardian. :D Unsurprisingly, he looks exactly like Hibari. Somewhat more surprisingly, HE WAS A SPY. How cool is that? \o/

10. Aaaaand, presenting Hibari Kyoya's Vongola box weapon... HANDCUFFS. Yes, that really happened. And I am dying to see how he'll actually fight with those, because LOL.

So, allow me to recap. This chapter features a flaming pony, Tsuna crushing on Kawahira, Hibari pimpslapping Daisy and calling him his bitch, and LEGENDARY VONGOLA HANDCUFFS.

Basically, this chapter is gayer than... something really, really gay. XD

4. I think it's strangely appropriate for the Dinopony to have wings. |D I mean, everything seems to be able to fly in this series.

6. (Why can I imagine Squalo's arm doing just that? Hopefully he gained the upper HAND (hahaah) in battle!)

7. AS I SAID BEFORE - DINO HAD BETTER BE OKAY. I'm sure Hibari wouldn't allow another one of his 'bitches' - snigger - to get hurt. Though he must have a life-time supply of those.

Sort of sucks that Dino got into the ring and then got kicked straight back out again. ): I wanted to see him fight more.

8. I love how he just storms in - "Hey, bitches" - and KICKS Dino out of the way. Hibari truly has gone ghetto.

This line actually made my day. I swear.

10. Amano, you truly are too good to us. We don't deserve an awesome mangaka like you. (:

I mean, this possibly makes Hibari into some sort of gay policeman, but now WE KNOW WHAT HE DOES WITH DINO FOR SURE.

IT LOOKS LIKE HE'S OFF THE HOOK FOR NOW, but ever since Squalo's d...isappearance from the manga XD I have been unreasonably paranoid.

1. I don't blame you at all, it was really hard to tell some of the characters apart, particularly on One Manga. That's why I went and downloaded the RAW to get a better look. XD

...Lancia is there? I've looked like five times and I can't spot him. XD I miss him too.

2. I love Gokudera's expression so much. It's like, "Really, guys, get a grip."

BUT IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO JOIN THE "BYAKURAN SUCKS" BANDWAGON.

This is simply a "just so you know"-type of thing, but if Lancia's name was spelled Lanchia, I'd read it as "Lankia", much in the same way I read Bianchi as "Bianki" and according to wikipedia (lol) Lancia's name is spelled "ランチア" in katakana rather than "ランキア" which implies that a soft c is wanted, whereas Bianchi is spelled "ビアンキ" implying the "k" sound. In Italian, C+H=K, C+C+H=K, C+A/O/U=K, C+I/E= a soft C sound, almost like the ch in chivalry. And they are Italians, so their names should follow Italian pronunciation rules. *nods*

Unnecessary extra info: Bianchi is technically the plural masculine form of "white", where as the singular masculine form is bianco. I do believe Amano should have gone with Bianca since that is the singular feminine form (plural being bianche). But hey, I've gotten used to Bianchi and wouldn't change it for the world.

Yeah, every time I think "Oh, Amano's just winging it" she pulls something like this.

I suspect she's writing CLAMP-style, that she's partly winging it but there is a long plan to all of this madness.

With the occasional getting totally drunk and pulling plot twists out of a hat?

It seems like she has a general outline of "THIS IS HAPPENING FOR THIS REASON", but she is just winging it when it comes to a lot of the smaller details. Like

ekmisao said, there is a grand master plan, but Amano is free to maneuver the characters toward it week-to-week in the craziest way possible. XD

And us not knowing the status of the boisterous Varia storm man, which makes me worry. ^^;;

IEM confirms no bitching or pimpslapping was done. ^^;; That's the version I read, and I guess I should be glad. The clean is also better there.
