Do you feel lucky, punk?

I DO, AS A MATTER OF FACT. |D I had a job interview today which went really well, much to my relief (particularly since I spent the entire week being stomachachingly, panic-attackingly nervous over it), and when I finally got home from that there was a nice new KHR chapter waiting for me. With more color pages. And various assorted epicness.

1. I'm not going to lie; it took me about three minutes to finally click past this page. Do you know why it took me three minutes? If you answered "GOKUDERA'S TUMMY" then you are correct! ABS!!!!! *_* I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS WITH HIM STRIPPING AND/OR DOING RIDICULOUS POSES COLOR PAGE AFTER COLOR PAGE, BUT NEVER CHANGE, GOKUDERA. NEVER CHANGE.

But yeah, this page is basically just all of the hottest characters in KHR standing around being hot. I can just picture Amano hard at work: "They want fanservice? I'LL GIVE THEM FANSERVICE."

The only notable character missing is, of course, Yamamoto, but sadly it was a necessary sacrifice. For as we all know, his being ranked in the top five ~~WHERE HE SHOULD BE~~ might have tragically resulted in Daniela not making it into the top ten, and we can't very well have that! That makes sense, right? Oh no, wait, it's like the opposite of making sense. THANK YOU, JAPANESE FANDOM. XD

Aaaaaand I'm gonna stop ranting about the color page now.

2. As if to even further highlight the ridiculousness of Yamamoto coming in #9 on that poll, the following page features a hilarious harem panel basically confirming the fact that Yamamoto really is everyone's favorite. JUST LOOK AT THAT HAREM. Giannini is just standing there basking in Yama's lulzy presence, looking like he's never felt so alive. (And Fuuta frankly looks jealous. CRY MOAR, FUUTA.)

Also, I got a little ;_; at Yama's relentless loyalty to his crazy sharkmentor. I just hope he doesn't find a corpse for his trouble. SQUALO PLEASE BE OKAYYYYY.

3. In addition to keeping up his streak of showing off unnecessary flesh, Gokudera is also continuing his streak of making hilarious faces! I LOLed. I think he just doesn't trust Bianchi with Yamamoto. XD And I also cracked up at how HAPPY Bianchi looks when he asks her. "OMG HAYATO WERE YOU WORRIED? 8D" Haha, I don't know if I could possibly adore their relationship any more than I do right now.

4. I would just like to say that in light of the revelation a few pages later in this chapter, Tsuna, Chrome, and Uni all really dropped the ball here. Both Tsuna and Uni have hyper-intuition, and Chrome can freaking see through illusions, and yet Torikabuto just prances right on past them. WHY IS GOKUDERA THE ONLY ONE PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO SECURITY? That's right, abuse him, Dera. Abuse him good.

Also, when Yamamoto says over the comm, "I can't believe Giannini built an entrance to the base in a place like THIS!" my mind immediately jumps to all sorts of horrible places. I like to think it was something really insane, like they had to go to one of the stalls in a public restroom and then stand in the toilet and then get flushed down into the base. XD

5. This is random, but I love the way Reborn is just standing there in the lower right panel here. No matter how long I've been desensitized to the idea of "angry baby with a gun", it still cracks me up sometimes.

And IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH, CHROME. Geez.

6. AHHHHHHHHHHH

AND TORIKABUTO MAKES HIS ENTRANCE, JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN. I cannot be the only one who found that panel unbelievably terrifying, can I? Even Lambo's hilarious "I'VE BEEN KIDNAPPED 8X" face doesn't fully balance it out.

7. Because I feel the need to point it out in all caps whenever it actually happens, I would just like to say that GOKUDERA ONCE AGAIN DID SOMETHING USEFUL. /o/

SORRY BLUEBELL, YOU'VE BEEN SISTEMA C.A.DENIED. The I stands for "It's about time."

God damn it, that does it. From this point on I am never going to complain about the lack of any given character in the manga ever again. I just have to take it on good faith that Amano is simply waiting for the most epic possible moment to reintroduce them. LONGCHAMP, I WILL BE WAITING PATIENTLY FOR YOU.

9. Hahaha, much as I appreciate their showing up to help rescue Uni, the idea of Nosaru and Tazaru seriously attempting to take on one of the real FWs, considering that THEY LOST TO TSUNA AND GOKUDERA BACK BEFORE THEY EVEN KNEW HOW TO USE THE RINGS, just tickles me silly. YOU IDIOTS. XD

10. And yay, Tsuna remembered he's the fucking main character. |D I'M HAPPY HE GETS TO BE BADASS THE WEEK OF HIS BIRTHDAY. Besides, he owed Torikabuto a rematch anyway.

...Has Gamma ever seen Tsuna in action before? Come to think, I don't think he has, which explains the look of utter shock, lol.

SO ONCE AGAIN, THE DAY IS SAVED, THANKS TO... THE POWERPUFF GIRLS. *cue theme music*

THE COLOUR SPREAD!!! *_____* Gokudera looks HOT (but still incredibly girly. My mother actually thought he was a woman, and when I said it was a boy, she raised an eyebrow and gave me a "Are you serious?" look. XD)

I just thought it was so cute that Bianchi got so incredibly happy over her brother seemingly care about her well being. She looks ecstatic! XD

Yamamoto going back to base is stupid but very Yamamoto, so I forgive him. XD

Gamma coming back was awesome! :DD

LOL, he is girly, but not nearly as girly as he was in the color pages last week, at least. But I don't even care, because ABS. GOOD GOD THAT IS ONE SEXY STOMACH.

I FORGIVE HIM BECAUSE HE IS DOING WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO; namely, check to see if Squalo is still alive. ;_;

And Gamma's entrance was made of ten different kinds of win. Could not have been any cooler or better-timed if he'd tried.

Well, Mukuro's entrance was a) right after everyone rode the shark, b) at a crucial moment when they were all trying to escape, and c) the return of a beloved character after like a zillion chapters AND we all had thought he was dead. So yeah, pretty damn epic. BUT I DUNNO, I JUST HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR GAMMA.

I usually end up deleting icons I don't use very often. I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO. ;___;

Haha, yeah, that's probably a good idea. I haven't paid much attention to the last few polls either except to celebrate Gokudera reaching third place in the last one, and to boggle a little over Daniela's inexplicable popularity. I know who my favorite characters are, so whatever. :P

--I've actually never seen Kyou Kara Maou, and I am instantly intrigued. XD

It's...well...it's fun stuff. It's pretty much a harem shonen-ai series (yes, it's possible), but even if that's not my thing it's not heavy-handed so it's a fun romp of itself.

Whiny kid gets flushed down toilet. Finds alternate dimension. Finds he's demon king of said alternate world. Finds he's married to one of the cute blonde boys there by default. Finds he has to collect the rest of his guardian-type siblings and people, and has to defeat various threats and collect some big boxes to open up some heavy-duty power. Something like that. It's a popular show, you can probably find it to rent.

Lol, you had me at "harem shounen-ai series." XD I must check this out. Is it just an anime or is there a manga as well (if so I'll probably go with that; it's easier that way for me). But if not, I'll definitely have to see if I can find some DVDs or torrents.

OMG THE COLOUR PAGE. I WAS SO SAD THAT YAMAMOTO WAS MISSING AND HAD A LITTLE SOB OVER THAT. _{But it made me stupidly happy that Squalo is 7th. BAWWWWWWWWWAWESOME. Fly on, you crazy shark dude.}

I was spoiled for the Lambo/Torikabuto thing, so I had the luxury of being able to sit at my computer and judge the characters for being caught off guard. I LOVE HAVING AN OMNISCIENT VIEWER PERSPECTIVE. And I cracked up so hard at that face... the way his eyes were bugging out just killed me.

Heh, it was really hard to make out; I only noticed because I ~~have a hard-on for anything even remotely C.A.I.-related~~ saw him activating his box in the panel right before. You can see one of the shield bones sticking out in a corner, but that's really all. STEALTH DEFENSE.

This is why I still like watching the anime. The colors and the choreography lets me understand the fight scenes better.

Dude, it's Yamamoto. He is shippeable with EVERYONE. And I feel so touched that's he's going back to check on the sadist!mentor. Yamamoto likes it ROUGH.

Gokudera's and Bianchi's relationship is SO ADORABLE. I love them both to end. And one a side note: Bianchi tops all lolis, Uni is part of the girl!gang she has.
