1. How far have you read in Katekyo Hitman Reborn!?

Up to date with the manga (hooray for torturous weekly waits).

2. What made you decide to start reading/watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn!?

Okay, so I stalk

campfuckudie like a stalking thing, right? And one day, this new character introed, and it was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. So I thought, "Any series that features a one-year-old mafia hitman has got to be worth looking into," and so I followed up on that self-given advice, and so help me, I've never looked back.

3. Of what you've seen so far, what's the best scene in the series?

Way too many to pick... I don't know about best, but I think my favorite scene is the end of the Storm Ring battle, when Gokudera emerges after the explosion torn up to hell and with nothing to show for his trouble, but alive, because he's finally realized his life is worth something to people, dammit. The "I came back because I wanted to see those fireworks" line gets me every time.

4. Who is your favorite character? Why?

Gokudera. At first it was because I loved how Reborn! took the classic "tough guy who hates everyone" character stereotype and turned it on its head by making him COMPLETELY GAY for this one guy who he adores, because that was so refreshing to me. And then as I got further into the manga, I just grew to appreciate him for all those other little things--his loyalty, his insecurities, his (very) gradual maturing as the series goes on and he learns Life Lessons (see above), etc. etc.

He's also--I don't know if you've noticed--fairly attractive. XD

5. Are there other characters you love? What do you love about them?

Entire cast goes here? Yamamoto and Tsuna would probably get first mentions, though: the former because he's Yamamoto (sweet, funny, badass, oblivious, and ever-reliable), and the latter because I really love how he gradually grows into the role of a leader as the series progresses. If you compare Tsuna the way he was at the beginning of the series to the way he is now, there's such a huge difference--that's some amazing character development.

6. What's your favorite pairing? Why? (it's OK to just say CUZ IT'S HOTTTTT)

8059, because the character interactions are total win and because the series has implied numerous times that the two care about each other as friends, at the very least. (I also have a definite weakness for the whole rival thing.)

7. Are there other pairings you'd like to recommend?

5927 is another one I'm fond of, as is the much less common 5986 (or whatever Haru's number is; also, this is another thing I can probably ~~blame~~ thank CFUD for). I actually like a lot of the het pairings, too; Tsuna/Kyoko, Lambo/I-Pin, Lal/Colonnello, Iemitsu/Nana, etc. Basically, I'm a whore for anything that seems remotely canon and/or involves Gokudera.

8. Which character(s) would you want to have as an older brother?

Colonnello would be the COOLEST BIG BROTHER EVER.

9. Which character(s) would you want to have as a younger brother?

Gokudera, because that's almost the only situation I can think of in which we might actually get along, sob.

10. Which character(s) do you think you'd be good friends with?

Tsuna; we'd laze around all day playing video games and trying our BEST to avoid ever doing anything worthwhile. XD

11. Which characters do you think you'd have an argument with?

I love Ryohei, but I have this feeling that our personalities wouldn't mesh all that well. Probably every fifteen minutes we'd be arguing over something incredibly dumb that we'd forget about five minutes later anyway, haha.

12. Which character would you want for your boyfriend/girlfriend?

Without a doubt, Yamamoto. Let's see, attractive, kind, honest, loyal, easygoing, unbeatable sense of humor... could he be the perfect man?!

Now if only he wasn't FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD JAILBAIT. XD

13. Which character would you expect to have a secret crush on you (not the same as the boyfriend question)?

Heh, honestly? Can't think of anyone. Or at least, I have no idea.

14. If you were dating that person from the earlier question there, which character would be jealous of you?

If this applies to question 12, then Dera would kill me. :/

15. Which character would be the best to have around in the event of Armageddon? Why?

Reborn. If the world is ending I want that baby on my side, dammit.

16. Which character from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! would you think might end up with the nickname "Sparky"?

Let's see, we have Tsuna whose head is regularly on fire, and Gokudera who fights using dynamite. ...Sorry Gokudera, but I think the scale is tipping your way. ETA: SO IT OCCURS TO ME that Lambo fights with ELECTRICITY, which as you may recall has been known to spark on occasion. XDD ...oh fuck it, this was a weird question anyway.

17. Of all the male characters, which one is most likely to be wearing women's underpants on any given day?

Reborn. Come on, is there even any question? Well, maybe Lussuria...

18. Which character probably has a pop idol poster on their bedroom wall or on the inside closet door and kisses it every day before leaving for school?

If Tsuna counts as a pop idol then I don't think there's any doubt that Haru is already doing this in canon.

19. If doing the shopping for his/her parents, which character is most likely to return with nothing but products that are orange?

...I can picture Bianchi going out on a quest to find ONLY ORANGE INGREDIENTS for some bizarre unknown reason. Maybe not for her parents, though, but come on, this is a weird question; I am allowed to take some liberties here.

20. Which character(s) is most likely to be transported to an alternate dimension because he/she is the only one with the power to save the universe? Describe his/her magical girl outfit.

Tsuna in a sailor senshi uniform... haha, I think on that note I'll call it a day and get some sleep. XD
