So I'm almost done with my general KHR FST. I'm only missing a few people; Colonnello (which is mostly just me being picky), Kyoko (I have one that might work, but it's more of a love song and I'm still looking to see if I can find something more gen), a few miscellaneous characters that I'm probably just going to leave off the soundtrack (Gamma, Spanner, Iemitsu, Basil, Lussuria, Chikusa, Ken, etc...), and... Dino. Who is STARTING TO GET ON MY NERVES. FUCKING HELL DINO why you gotta be like this. XD

So... just posting to vent (asfkjoiwl;!!1@), and also on the off chance that anyone has any suggestions... um. Much obliged? XD

Otherwise I'll probably just stick him with something generic, because SERIOUSLY.

ETA: xshoutitloudx IS AMAZING. BUT DINO IS STILL A BITCH.

I don't think I'm gonna do one for him, just because he's more minor in the scheme of things than some of the other Varia (I don't have one for Levi either >_>), and also because it would end up being more of a joke song than anything (Shamal was bad enough XDD), but. Now I am kind of tempted. XD

Kyoko is an iconic love interest so I'd definately go for a beatles song like "I've Just Seen a Face" or "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" any song about a pure beautiful happy girl would match her I imagine... since she really don't have anything besides that flat aura. If you want other things I can offer them.

Dino is HARRRD. He doesn't have much going for him, even a generic song doesn't get it. I mean unfortunately most songs that talk about being a klutz of some sort involves it being a love song. I came out with 3 songs that could only marginally cut it. Klaxon's song 'four horsemen of 2012' talks of a man that is half-man, half-horse. It is a centaur reference but the song could cut it about squalo's dislike of dino possibly, and also of course due to the nickname. I'm no superman by lazlo bane is essentially about needing others to help you pull through sometimes, but its very specific and clearly wouldn't relate to a dino life, but the fact that he needs his men semi works. I also thought as a joke 'falling for the first time' would work if you take it literally as falling/tripping. The juxtaposition of being cool and then a line about being a dork works well for his double-sided person. I'll search more.

Hmm... the Beatles songs you mentioned would be good, but there's still the problem of them being too love-centered. But your description of her actually gave me another idea which I think could work. I think she's covered now. o/

Man, Dino really is a bitch to FST. XD I like Superman, but you're right about it being a little too specific. Still, it's the best suggestion I've gotten so far; at least the chorus fits. XD I'm gonna look more too.

Iemitsu could definitely be Father of Mine by Everclear, simply because he's really never home for Tsuna, regardless of him ever coming back he disappears again. The song doesn't fit PERFECTLY but it could fit well enough.

If you are looking for a serious Shamal one, Medicine Man by the Hush Sound is decent enough for the title and the fact that he is a sexual deviant and would like this song very much for himself ohoho

Yeah, Dino doesn't have those subtle bits and pieces to his character that you can latch onto when you're finding songs. That doesn't help. XD

I don't think I'm gonna do one for Iemitsu, just because then I'd probably have to do a few other characters too (like Basil, who would kill me XD), but I do like Everclear so I'm dling the song anyway. Yep, it stands for fan soundtrack. :) And that's basically the gist of it; since it's something I tend to do (and enjoy doing) anyway, I figured I might as well go all the way with it, even if it meant having to find songs for CERTAIN CHARACTERS THAT ARE PROVING VERY TROUBLESOME. XD

Ah, it's not perfect, but the only song I can think of that I have EVER heard, that I can associate with Dino, is Grenade Jumper (Hey Chris) by Fall Out Boy.

You know what, this song is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for, which is to say that when I listened to it, afterwards I felt like I actually had a little more insight into him than before. It does feel like him, and it matches that mentoring side of him we've seen so often.
