Memes!

So, makeste, your LiveJournal reveals...

When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 32

(The average level of weirdness is: 28.
You are weirder than 70% of other LJers.)

Find out what your weirdness level is!

Hey. Hey. "Yamamoto's zombie brain" is a totally normal and not-at-all-bizarre interest, okay.

And let's see if I can't boost that "herdlike" percentage by doing another meme!

the that's my favorite! meme
A FANFICTION PRAISE MEME

And one more!

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, thoughts on lima beans, favorite language, graphic techniques, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

SEEING AS I'M KEEN TO PLEASE AND ALL, TELL ME WHAT TO POST ABOUT?

Leaving to see Scott Pilgrim in an hour; I'm so excited. :D

Ooo I'm stealing all of these memes (except the fiction one because I don't write).

How about...you post about the last mundane thing you did that went awry? :')

Steal away!

And lol, nice choice. I already know which disaster I'm going to post about. XD

[identity profile] smilypie.livejournal.com 2010-08-17 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL thoughts on lima beans. I suddenly wanna know everyone's opinion on lima beans now.
But umm, post about what you do for a living/your everyday life? 8D

[identity profile] makeste.livejournal.com 2010-08-18 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
For what it's worth, my opinion of lima beans is a solid "meh." XD

And all right, real life post coming up, then. (Well, not right now, but soonish.) :)

XD I used to love them and now...they're just very dry.

Looking forward to it! =D

Yamamoto's zombie brain is everyone's favorite part of KHR. DUH.

As for the third meme....hmmm, post about your favorite clothes? I DUNNO.

[identity profile] makeste.livejournal.com 2010-08-18 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
He's totally the... nth main character. Good ol' Takeshi. |D

Lol, most of my clothes are really boring, but I'll give it a shot!

Do you want to try getting out of your comfort zone and write about Hibari

talk about your town please? 8D

[identity profile] makeste.livejournal.com 2010-08-18 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
I have on several occasions tried and failed to write Hibari, actually. XD The closest I ever came to producing something readable was when I tried to write a fic about my version of his backstory (basically, my headcanon is that his parents are completely normal and spoiled him to death; the idea of someone like Hibari having a totally average family background amuses me greatly for some reason). But even that fell apart pretty quickly. I'll keep trying, though. o/

And will do! *makes note*

And so we meet again over movies. As in, I just came back from seeing Scott Pilgrim, checked your lj, and saw this post.

As for random subjects, how about traveling? (Favourite) places you've been? Awesome things you've seen? Preferred mode of transport? Weird-ass shit that happened along the way? An account of the diverse selection of lima beans you've encountered in your travels? That sort of thing.

MOVIE BUDDIES, HELL YEAHHH

*HIGH FIVE*

It was awesome. I read the first four graphic novels (still have to get around to reading the last two), and I was not disappointed. |D

And I might just need a whole separate post (separate from the other separate post I will do to discuss the topics given here, I mean. Though that was probably obvious) to talk about the hoardes of strange and bizarre lima beans I've seen in my day, but I'll do my best!... haha, no, but I can definitely blab a little bit about travel in general. That's always a fun topic. :D

*HIGH FIVES BACK AND ADDS BONUS FIST-BUMP*

I concur muchly with you on the Scott Pilgrim film. I've read the entire series and was very much satisfied with how they managed to condense it.

Travel stories can, at times, reach near-KHR levels of wtfery. As well as just always being good fun. I always find it interesting to hear about where other people have traveled, and what their experiences with the local lima beans have been.

Besides, I'd like to think that these separate posts of yours are going to help us through these sad, long, KHR-less days.

*GOTTA HAVE THE FISTBUMP! BROFIVES, BABY*

Yeah, it seemed like they managed to get the majority of material from the first three volumes in there, and the essential stuff from the last three (I'm assuming). There were a few things that I was sad to see cut (mostly Knives's dad, since I kind of love him), but they kept just about everything I was most excited to see. Overall, it kicked ass.

Heh, I haven't been to all that many places, but I'll try to rack my brain and come up with a few anecdotes, at least. XD

Ah yes, the KHR drought. Hopefully we're coming to the end of it, but in the meantime I can probably squeeze at least one more post in. *rolls up sleeves!*

YES! KNIVES'S DAD! I was totally waiting for him to show up, bus-slicing and all, and was really quite disappointed when he didn't. But otherwise yeah, they basically got the bare necessities in, while maintaining the general epic vibe (imo).
