It's the next logical step. The last upgrade worked for exactly one enemy (well, two, if you count that guy in chapter 287, I guess) before getting wrecked, so it stands to reason that it's only going to go downhill from there. Good thing the Vongola family has an unlimited supply of emergency power-ups. |D
