I like when my shows are the good kind of crazy.

Five episodes in, and I can't contain my urge to babble about season 3 of Heroes any longer.

1. The further we get into this season, the more appropriate I think the "Villains" subtitle is. Is it just me, or does it seem like EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER that was good in previous seasons is turning evil, and all of the bad guy characters are shooting for redemption? Sylar, Peter, Mohinder, Claire, Angela, Nathan... the list goes on. Seriously, it was weird enough to see Sylar slowly becoming a good guy (though I have to say, I'm liking him so much more this way that it isn't even funny), but to see Angela actually show emotion--regret! Remorse! C-CARING?!--in this episode was almost too much. I admit it, I really felt sorry for her when Nathan was storming out of the room and her voice cracked when she was trying to call him back. Even she can be human; who knew?

TL;DR I love, love, love how three-dimensional the characters in this series are and how they don't just STAY THE SAME year-in and year-out. E-even when the change is for the worst orz.

2. Uh. So I absolutely refuse to believe that Hiro would actually stab Ando like that without at least having some sort of tricksy backup plan to save him at the last minute!! BUT. I can't for the life of me think of what said plan might be. CLIFFHANGER WHYYYYY.

3. I was really sad to see the vortex guy kill himself, even though I saw it coming from a mile away. I liked him; he could have made a really great addition to the cast. On the plus side, he did confirm my sneaking suspicion that I will, in fact, forgive Noah Bennet for virtually any act of brutal dickery no matter how detestable, though. I just have to face facts--I am astoundingly biased when it comes to my favorite characters. :(

4. OH MY GOD that puppet master guy. CREEPY. CREEEEEEEEEEPYYYY.

5. And after two whole seasons of wondering if/when we'd ever hear more about Papa Petrelli, we finally get some answers! And whoa. D: Oh well, at least my dad can finally stop bugging me with theories now. OKAY DAD, YOU WERE RIGHT, HE IS ALIVE, I'm glad I didn't put money on this or anything. XD

Okay, there. Whee rambling yay it's out of my system now. |D

First, I HOPE I DIDN'T SPOIL YOU ahhhhh. D: *tries to block spoilers from view!*

Second, if it helps, NBC's Heroes website has all of the episodes from this season (and maybe the others? I'm not sure) online over here, including the "premiere party" which was basically a recap of what's happened in the previous seasons, so if you're interested in catching up, that might be a good place to check it out. IT IS AWESOME and even awesomer this season. :D

And no problem!

Heh, for me it was the opposite. I'd been suspecting a mindfuck thing of some sort ever since Linderman reappeared, so Parkman's dad didn't come as much of a surprise. But when I saw that he was working for Papa Petrelli my brain just went, "!!??!" XD

It does. It really, really does. But in a good way.
