1. Uchiha Sasuke's purple fucking assbow. No wait, that's something I hate. ...OR IS IT. Eh, all I know is that it sure does make him look pregnant.
2. Chrome's... hair? Mist is purple, isn't it? Or is that cloud?
3. Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix. Coolness personified.
4. Blueberry pie. MMM DELICIOUS.
5. Visited links. The web's way of letting you know "HEY YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN HERE, STUPID."
6. Sunsets. There is nothing else in this world so epic-feeling as a sunset.
7. My cell phone. It's an LG CU515 and is pretty damn simple as far as phones go, but I love it.
8. GameCube! Not Nintendo's best console, but certainly not a bad one. I have a lot of fond memories of playing SSB Melee and Naruto GNT on my old Gamecube.
9. Firefox has some awesome purple-themed personas; here's one I'm using right now.
10. Dorayaki! ~~Yeah, I know they call it red bean paste but it's totally purple, stfu. XD~~

30 Seconds to Mars - Kings and Queens. This is the song that's currently quoted in my layout and oh my god it is fucking amazing.

#02 What books are you currently reading?
Just finishing up Good Book by David Plotz, and before that it was the first two books in The Hunger Games series. Before that was The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, which is now one of my all-time favorites. I've been reading a lot of amazing books lately. Don't know what I'll try next, though.

#03 What was the last movie you saw?
How to Train Your Dragon, which was incredibly good. Like, Pixar good. I saw it twice, I loved it so much. *_* And tonight I'm seeing Kick-Ass, which I've been looking forward to.

#04 ZOMBIES OR ROBOTS:
Robots, man. Zombies are boring.

#05 Cats or dogs?
Cats. They're less work and I am a lazy person. XD

Probably Gokudera, right now.

I don't have a preferred side that I know of...? Maybe I sleep on the left side slightly more than the right, I dunno. I've never really thought about it.

A Snickers bar from a vending machine. Cuz I was hungry and apparently when you're hungry you're supposed to grab one of those? ???

#10 Would you rather date a good singer, or a good cook?
A good cook. I have no idea why someone would list "good singer" as one of their pros for dating someone. WHO EVEN CARES idk. But cooking, that's different. I'd love to date someone who was a really good cook and could maybe teach me (because I? Am not a good cook XD).

#11 If you could only listen to one band or singer for the rest of your life who would it be?
Um... it's a tossup between Radiohead and Third Eye Blind. Radiohead would allow for more variety, but I think I might go with 3EB just because their music is generally less depressing.

#12 What do you do to change your mood?
Read or listen to music, I guess.

#13 What was the last meal you ate?
Spinach alfredo pasta; leftovers from last night. Tasty.

#14 Do you want to learn another language?
I really need to learn Spanish one of these days. Not only does half my family speak it and I can't (which is embarrassing), but I've also got someone coming up to me at least once every other week and talking to me in Spanish because they assume I can speak it, which is also embarrassing because then I have to explain that I can't. XD It's definitely on my list of things to do within the next few years.

Summer, doing summery things. Certain movies coming out. The series finale of Lost. The next chapter of KHR. All sorts of random things.

Nothing? Before that it was the two Youtube videos that I linked in this post. And before that, it was nothing once again! EXCITING.

Been hesitant to see Kick-Ass because I'm not a fan of the comic (or Mark Millar) but I might as well break down and go.

I really hope HTTYD wins the animated film award at the Oscars next year. Because unless Toy Story 3 turns out to be THE BEST MOVIE EVER SOMEHOW (which I can't imagine how that could happen, although it does look funny), it really deserves it.

I haven't read the comic, but I've been wanting to see the movie ever since the trailers started popping up on Youtube. It just looks awesome. XD

SSBM is the best thing to happen to the Gamecube. That, and Mario Kart Double Dash XD

OH YEAH I HAD NO IDEA KHR WAS YOUR MAIN FANDOM :OOOOO

The GameCube had a pretty decent lineup, actually. SSBM, Paper Mario, the original Animal Crossing, Wave Race Blue Storm, Metroid Prime, RE4... really, not bad. ~~Not a huge fan of Double Dash, though. But that's mostly because I'm a loyalist to Mario Kart 64. XD~~

I KNOW, IT'S KIND OF OUT OF THE BLUE. SINCE I SO RARELY TALK ABOUT IT. XD

Oh yeah I forgot about Animal Crossing. I never played it, but I do hear it's a great game. ~~And, yeah, Mario Kart 64 will always be awesome XD~~

IT'S JUST SO SHOCKING :O

I wasted so many hours because of the addictiveness of that game. XD ~~Indeed. If I had to make a list of my top ten... or maybe twenty video games of all time, I'm pretty sure that would make the list.~~

I'M SURE I MUST HAVE MENTIONED IT ONCE OR TWICE, THOUGH.

Being a good cook isn't hard, though! :D You just have to find a good set of cookbooks and figure out the standard shorthand (e.g. "add beans" means "drain & rinse beans, then add", "bake 12-16 minutes" means "start checking them at ten", and "mince" means "1/16th-of-an-inch pieces, only ever applicable to garlic").

I know in theory it shouldn't be difficult as long as you follow the recipe, but in practice it just takes me forever to make even the simplest things, and I have to be really meticulous and even then I usually make really stupid mistakes. And I must have some sort of mental block or something, because even when I do cook something and it turns out all right, I'll try to make it again a week or two later and I'll have forgotten everything and it's like I have to start the learning process all over again. XD

IN SHORT I AM A COOKING FAILURE.

Haha, I tend to be really slow at cooking myself. WHY DOES IT TAKE AN HOUR AND A HALF TO MAKE DINNER. ;_;

What kind of mistakes? *curious*

Mostly burning things and the like. Last time I tried to make stir fry I nearly killed myself by overheating the cooking oil. It started bubbling and making popping noises and I was like AHHH AHHH NOOOOO. And I accidentally let things overboil a lot. And I have burned rice more than once (unfortunately we don't have a rice cooker), which is embarrassing because I am half Puerto Rican and rice and beans is what we do. SUPPOSEDLY.

Basically stuff like that. XD

Oh, I used to do that a LOT. I think I solved it by starting to listen to podcasts, so I didn't get engrossed in a book while cooking. >.> Also, keeping a glass of warm-but-not-boiling water next to the stove is a good idea, so if something overboils you can just pour an equivalent of water back in, and it'll stay not-boiling long enough for you to turn the heat down a little.

BTW, I recently found an almost-foolproof (I'm just waiting to goof it up, but I haven't yet) way to cook rice! Put 2 cups of rice, 1 teaspoon salt, and 3 cups of water in a two-quart pot, and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, heat a second burner at just-hot-enough-to-keep-something-boiling temperature (no idea what this'll be on your stove -- for me it's about 1/3 of the way around the dial) and when the rice boils, move it to that burner for five minutes. (A timer is good.) Then turn it down not quite as low as it will go and cook it for another 20 minutes.

It makes a lot of rice, but you could probably scale it back by half with a smaller pot. I haven't managed to burn rice this way yet, although I think I've overcooked it a few times. ;)

Re: cooking rice: I will try that! "Foolproof" sounds pretty encouraging, even with the "almost" in front of it. XD One of these days I'll managa it without any mishaps. Anyways, thanks!

Ahh GameCube. Did you play Zelda? It had like...three no four no five XDD of the games on GameCube. (or ported to it)

Hmm it seems everyone says that How to Train Your Dragon is a good movie. Now I'm curious to see it myself.

OH WOW HOW DID I FORGET ZELDA? Well, I suppose Wind Waker was the only really GameCube Zelda, actually, but I still enjoyed it. And I did have the bonus disk with the four other games (including Ocarina, my all-time favorite game... possibly my all-time favorite anything >_>), so that was nice too. But yeah, I'm a huge Zelda fan.

HtTYD is an amazing movie and I highly recommend it. It's funny (and not in the dumb, pop culture-referencing Shrek way--no offense to Shrek fans XD--but really, actually funny), the characters are great, the animation is incredible, and it's just really well-written. Like I said, I saw it twice, and it was just as good the second time (which is high praise from me; even Up was a little dull the second time around imo). I JUST REALLY LIKED IT, CAN YOU TELL? XD

I totally hear you on the Spanish thing. About 11/12th of my family speaks it and I pretty much don't. Not to mention I live in an area where 1/2 of the people you meet speak it.
