We are shining stars

Shounen Jump still on "vacation." Still no sign of spoilers. Restless. Refreshed Mangahelper's KHR forum a dozen times yesterday, despite fact that most of the day was spent at work and then in NYC watching brother's band perform on open mic stage. Results unsatisfying. Spoiler thread remains unposted in.

Am starting to experience "withdrawal"; they told me it would set in as the first week drew to a close. Suggested remedies have proven ineffective; fanfiction only heightens the pangs of loss, and the Arco arc, while highly entertaining, is not the same without Byakuran there to be a dick and Irie there to make us all fall in love with him. Also, Gokudera still having problems winning his fights.

Have resorted to this one last potential ward against the impending darkness, this one last light when all other lights go out. They call it a "meme." Obtained from cleartempest:


Fics That Never Happened Meme: If you make up titles for stories I didn't write, I will respond with details of those non-written stories. (Please specify fandom or at least give me a couple to choose from)

and/or

The Hypothetical AU Meme: Take any one of the fandoms or characters or pairings you know I write AND give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU, superhero AU, etc.). I will then explain what story from that fandom/character I would write for that AU.


It may be that these "memes" will serve to preserve my sanity for one more week. I pray they will, though I fear I am already a lost cause.

ETA: Blargh I've been trying to come up with details for cleartempest's and poisontea's awesome replies, but my brain is just really low on creativity today (well, not completely, but most of it is for other random fic ideas that keep popping up). I'LL GET TO THEM SOON, THOUGH, I PROMISE. (I really want to do that Magical Girls one especially. |D)

Well, to start things off, this is not my main LJ. But I haven't used my main journal in a few months for REASONS THAT SHALL NOT BE DISCUSSED, and so this may become a temporary place-holder for that, I dunno. Right now, though, it's mainly just my KHR account, since KHR has kind of eaten my soul (I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this problem, and I'm also fairly sure that it won't be all that long before it's much more widespread; this series is too good to stay under the radar forever). A place to whore Reborn! icons, stalk Reborn! comms, and maybe post essays and/or fic if inspiration slash whimsy ever strikes. Beyond that I don't have any real plans.

For that matter, there's no reason to even post something like this, but I was getting tired of seeing this poor empty white space, so!
