We are shining stars

It's a new week, I finally finished and posted my insane time travel fic, and I hold in my hands a fresh and delicious bagel. It's good to be alive! So now I will get back to work on the rest of those trick-or-treat dares.

God, it's been like... two months since I last did one of these. And since last week's Jump was apparently a double issue (meaning that in all likelihood we will not get a new chapter this week) (insert weeping here), I'm going to need something to pass the time, damn it.

SO, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET'S REVISIT CHAPTER 9.

( In which someone at Shueisha finally wised up to the fact that they could have a hit on their hands if they could only get this mangaka to include some sort of... fanservice. )

Or I could try something slightly more productive, like another edition of Recapping Chapters That Came Out Six Years Ago.

( Perhaps not the catchiest title, but surely the most accurate. )

But then I got to reading the chapter in between, and too many amazing things were happening for me to not make wry observations about them.

( So I'm just gonna try to get it all out of my system as quickly as possible. )

First of all, welcome starlinglove, mibelle26, juniormint, amcw177, saying_sooth, snapdraw_gone, and makemegray! It's a pleasure to meet you all, and I look forward to much capslocking, fangirling, and general getting-to-know-you-ness in the future. ♥

Second, a belated Happy Birthday to erisabesu and doomcake! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME, I hope you know, and I hope good times were had.

And third, I was looking back at some of the early KHR chapters the other day (because the new arc was filling me with nostalgia), and it occurred to me that by getting in on the reviewing game late, I hadn't really given these chapters their due. So I've decided that before I get to any more of the new chapters, I'm going to go back and review all of the old ones first. IT WILL BE FUN, WE CAN REVISIT THE DAILY LIFE ARC AND MAKE FUN OF AMANO'S WACKY OLD DRAWING STYLE AND STUFF.

( Anyway, we've got like a hundred and fifty-odd chapters to go, so we'd better get started. )
