...I will do... something. I don't even know what. But it will be REALLY IMMATURE and DISGRUNTLED and probably embarrassing.

Aside from that, I am in a fanfic conundrum! I signed up for khrminibang because HELL YEAH, but now as the first deadline approaches, I'm starting to have second thoughts. Because the one decent idea I had, I'm not sure if I can pull off (my inspiration is waning), and I don't want to use any of my other ideas because I'm afraid they'll all be retconned by the time the fics are posted in September (DAMN YOU SHOUICHI, YOU SCARRED ME FOR LIFE). And also it would take time away from working on the sequel to Down the Stairs, which is already way behind schedule because I lost the flashdrive that had the fic on it a couple months ago, and after weeks of searching I finally gave it up for lost and started over, only to finally find the flashdrive again just a couple days ago, which arrrrrrgggh. Rube Goldberg would be proud of the way my progress on this fic is going.

Anyway. So I have a few more days to decide if I'm going to stick with minibang or not, I guess. MAYBE NEW INSPIRATION WILL STRIKE ALL OF A SUDDEN; stranger things have happened.

In the meantime, nothing like using up the free time that should be devoted to fic by posting a meme, I always say! From tsunayoshi:

1. So I saw Half-Blood Prince at 12:01 back on Tuesday night, and I know fan opinion's been mixed, but I thought it was awesome. HBP was my favorite in the series (though depending on what mood I'm in, my favorite book is also Prisoner of Azkaban and on occasion, Deathly Hallows as well), and I thought it was adapted very well. I wasn't disappointed by any of the cuts (especially if the rumor that they're going to open the next film with Dumbledore's funeral turns out to be true), and I thought they nailed the crucial scenes (particularly the showdown with Dumbledore, Malfoy, and then Snape). And it was easily the best-acted of all six films, not to mention the funniest.

Without a doubt, my favorite part was the entire Felix Felicis sequence--Radcliffe was brilliant throughout. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. And then it just perfectly segued into the scene with Slughorn in Hagrid's Hut, and that was really well done too. Overall, I had reservations about David Yates after Order of the Phoenix (which I didn't enjoy half as well), but I'm really excited for the last two films now.

2. I finished my khr_undercover fic a few days ago! That's about as early as I've ever finished something that was on a deadline, which is actually kind of sad, lol. Anyway, now that it's done and all (and since I've discovered I have absolutely no motivation whatsoever to even try and edit it myself XD), I figure I should get this beta thing sorted out.

EDIT: Removed the info pertaining to the fic in a likely futile effort to avoid giving people anymore hints now that the guessing part of the challenge is getting underway. XD

I did this about three months ago, and last night I looked back at it and realized it was kinda out of date. XD So!

What this is: A list of all the fandom projects I'm currently working on, and their nearness to completion (mostly for my own reference XD). Disclaimer: Odds are good that several of the things listed here won't ever see the light of day because sometimes I just drop things for no reason and never pick them back up. And there's also a good chance that I might turn around tomorrow and write/post something that isn't even on this list, because inspiration is weird like that. Anyway.

This is just a list of all of the fandom projects I'm working on right now. Some of them I might finish relatively soon, some might have to wait several months or more, and some I might just drop altogether. And with the way inspiration likes to hit me at random, there's a good chance that the next thing I finish won't even be on this list at all. XD But in the meantime, doing this sometimes helps me to sort out what I want to work on next.
