So, after last week's translation issues (oh Spade, why does everything that comes out of your mouth cause trouble?), I was going to wait until IEM released KHR 323 instead of going with MS/BT's version again. But wouldn't you know it, here it is, 8 p.m. on a Sunday night and still no sign of it! So I will just go ahead and bite the bullet, because like hell if I have the willpower to wait another whole day to read this.

Which is a good thing, since if you don't guess then I don't have to confirm that it is the High School Musical 3 soundtrack, and that I am only partly enjoying it ironically. So don't guess!

On a separate note, it's still a couple of weeks till New Year's but I've already decided that I'm going to make it one of my resolutions to be more consistent about comment replies. I've gotten so bad in the past few months, it's ridiculous. I just let everything pile up and then I get all discouraged whenever I log in because there's so much to get to and I don't have the energy to do it all but then I feel like an ass for just ignoring people, especially since you guys are all so awesome and leave detailed comments that point out stuff I hadn't noticed and raise really interesting points that I want to discuss. But I just get lazy and intimidated. ;;

So my new goal is to get to at least 3 comments a day, since I figure even someone as lazy as I am can't possible be intimidated by that many! START SMALL AND WORK MY WAY UP. That's the new plan. XDb

So a few weeks ago, I got a new job, which has its pros and cons. Pros: I am slightly richer than before (read: still poor as the dickens). Cons: Internet usage is strictly regulated and monitored at the new job, so I'm pretty much away from LJ for about 12 hours a day (including commute and so forth), and sleeping for at least 8 of the other hours. THE FUN PART OF THE DAY JUST GOT A HELL OF A LOT SHORTER.

Plus on top of that there has been Christmassy stuff to take care of and colds to battle and so forth blah blah long story short I haven't reviewed the last two KHR chapters yet! Which was probably obvious already BUT I MUST MAKE EXCUSES FOR IT, OKAY. 8(

Anyway, what I was thinking was that I would wait until chapter 318 came out and then do like a double review or something. What I did not anticipate was that Vongola GP (a.k.a. KHR on cuteness steroids) would be premiering the same weekend! DAMN YOU AMANO AND TOSHINORI, SNEAKING UP ON ME LIKE THAT.

Soo... I guess it'll be a double review of KHR 317/318*, followed (most likely tomorrow) by a post on GP 01.

It was terrible! I hated everything about it!!

Naw, I'm just kidding; it was actually kind of the best movie ever. Probably I'll be making some sort of long, spasmatic capslocky post about it in the near future. Since everything about it was completely perfect fffff wake me up when it's July.

Well, in the meantime, at least there's still KHR!

( And I love Gokudera ALMOST as much as I love Ron Weasley, so that's something. )

ETA: Sorry for the EXTREME lack of replies, guys. I got a new job and I'm still adjusting to the hours. I'll try to get to these either this evening or tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

So I tried something different this week, and read Binktopia's scanlation first, then used IEM's version to do the review. I think it worked out all right; it solves the problem of me fretting about which scan to read, as well as the problem of me constantly going into these things unspoiled so that all I'm capable of writing are capslock reactions and rows and rows of exclamation points.

( Though I like to think those exclamation points did have their own special charm. )

It's a new week, I finally finished and posted my insane time travel fic, and I hold in my hands a fresh and delicious bagel. It's good to be alive! So now I will get back to work on the rest of those trick-or-treat dares.

And also, thanks so much to everyone who passed along birthday wishes yesterday! ♥ It was a good day--among other things, I got to visit baby sis's preschool to watch her Halloween parade, which was adorable and awesome. And my other sis gave me a card that played the theme from Rocky when I opened it, which cracked me up because for some reason (possibly having something to do with the fact that I am a giant nerd), all I could think of was Ryohei. XD
